I’m disappointed by the service of the male bartender and local female server ( in their 40s/50s) who were both quite cold. I usually like coming here but have recently felt a shift with service. It feels like a “what do you want” and “don’t bother me” vibe. There’s no small talk.
The male bartender brought a cocktail to my friend who then asked for a glass of water and he scoffed audibly (not sure why). My friend felt uncomfortable and apologized to the male bartender when he brought the water.
They food is good and the atmosphere is great, but I felt unwelcomed by these particular servers.

A twenty dollar small plate of crab with few pieces of crackers is not worth it, and does not look appetizing. It tasted fishy and doesn't look like or taste of crab at all.
The bartender couldn't careless about you, always look mean, and makes you feel unwanted. Well, this is a place for public and he is a worker there. They should be me more welcoming to any customers. I shop at Alamoana often and Nordstrom happens to be one of my favorite place to go.

I visited Habitant at Nordstrom Ala Moana yesterday around lunchtime. Unfortunately, I experienced service from a female staff member that felt unfriendly and dismissive. She did not make eye contact, spoke with a curt tone, and did not say “thank you” at the end.
I usually enjoy my visits to Habitant, but this experience was disappointing. I wanted to share this feedback so it can be addressed.

6/2025 Been frequenting this nice,cozy find quite a bit, especially on Wine down Wednesdays. You cannot beat the 50% off most all wine bottle special. It's also not like the carry bad labels either. Their list is simple but elegant as is the atmosphere. Located on the 2nd floor in the middle of Nordstroms, this little secret is a pleasant way to kill some time, watch a quick game on TV, heck out the foot traffic while contemplating that to do list, or enjoy random conversations with regulars and newbies alike. Everyone knows the friendly staff by name and the cocktails are pretty dang good too. It's not the cheapest place in the world to get a cocktail but what place is nowadays and the ambiance provides that added value. Hence, Wednesdays. Give them a try when you're near Foodland or shopping in the area and pamper yourself with an unexpected pleasant break. 😉🤙✌️

Rest your tired feet and shopping bags! Habitat has crafted cocktails and pupus (appetizers) that will make you swoon. I love the comfy cushioned seats, if I can grab one! Love this place!

The service was slower than expected. The “manager” was using the register and also making drinks. No big deal, except he used his hands to grab the fruit garnish for my drink and touched all over the rim of my glass. Wouldn’t go back on purpose.
Artichoke dip was very salty and the bread dry, chicken meatballs had an odd texture, cocktail was good but overall everything was overpriced compared to the quality of the food and service.

Nice place, but come on guys, instead of greeting the customers first you pointing out what you CANT do and can do. Try some customer service. While I was there I saw 2 different couples came to sit and because no one came to them while they were waiting to be served they left….

My husband and I love to come here on the weekend or to during a shopping break. The drinks and pupus are always delicious and the service is always friendly. Plus we get Nordy points so we get a little back for all the money we spend here. They have comfy bench seating and also tables and two tvs where they usually have the sports playing. I love getting the basil cucumber gin drink or the Mimi Chardonnay. Habitant never disappoints.
