We've been in and out of Hickam for the last 3 weeks as I spent some of my terminal leave here. We've eaten here 6 times. My wife, three young kids and mother-in-law. This chow hall has been our go-to. They are very polite workers and it seems to be a contract with a company that helps those with special needs for some of the positions. The food is fine. Breakfast is the best meal here, as is the case with lots of chow halls. It's also inexpensive compared to eating on the economy. About $4-$5 for a scramble, biscuit & gravy, and a glass of juice.
Food is pretty good. It charges around $7 to $8 on food including snacks and everything. It takes cash and card. You can also leave your feedback and they’ll make sure that needs are met. The staff is 100% very kind and energetic. Definitely eating here more often. They’ve improved a lot.
