Only stopped by for a mai tai on the beach so can’t comment on the food, but service was friendly and prompt, and the prices are great for waikiki - especially with the military discount. Mai tai’s served in a plastic cup, but was very tasty considering the price and there’s some comfortable seating close to the seawall looking out over the beach.
Charline-Reservations, Sharleen-Reservations, Caroline-Front Desk, Joanne-Front Desk, Ana-Front Desk, Matt-Front Desk, Lucia-Reservations/Front Desk, and Elsie-Room Services are outstanding staff at the Hale Koa. Each of these individuals went above and beyond to provide the highest quality of service to me and my family during our stay. The room reservation that either Charline or Sharleen placed for my family was fantastic. We could not have asked for a better room or accommodations....
Terrific stay with the family! This was my second stay with the wife and first for our kids - can't say enough great things about the hotel. Great staff, nice clean rooms, & great location. Check in was long, but we were checking in at 3pm HST. Only 2 elevators working on check in day in the Ilima tower, but was only an issue the day of check in. Location is great! Right on the beach. The kids enjoyed the pool - but hated the safety check every hour (adult swim)! Breakfast...
