Han no Daidokoro / Kakaako

Aloha, Han No Daikoro has amazing cuts of wagyu meats, served fresh from Japan. We visited during the Taste of Ward week - good deal at $85, nice. Kim chee and namul sides come with the meal. Add the garlic stone pot rice too, all so yummy. Nice fun cocktails, beer and sake. Enjoy!

We ordered the Miyazaki Beef Chef's Cut, chili tofu, potato salad, and kim chee assortment. That was just enough food for 2 people, and gave us a nice selection of A5 wagyu to try. The sides were tasty, and the meat was heavenly. Because we were celebrating a birthday they brought us a slice of cheesecake at the end, and (along with the hot tea) this was the perfect complement to the meal. We also ordered a couple of cocktails (smoked old fashioned and regular old fashioned) and a lemonade, which was carbonated but very refreshing. The server was very helpful with explanations on what everything was, and the service was excellent. An unexpected part of the meal was freshly grated wasabi, which added the perfect touch to the richness of the meat. The bill, for such high quality food, was very reasonable. I would definitely go back there again and recommend it highly.

Happy hour is a great price and many choices of items. Better to try " Beef tongue sashimi"!! I will be back here sometime soon for sure.

Quality food and outstanding service! Visited on this occasion to celebrate a dear friend's birthday. She loved it!

Food and service was excellent. Loved the marbled Japanese beef flown in regularly. Also dipping the beef into the raw Japanese egg was so good!

Wonderful experience! Servers were efficient and attentive. Wagyu Beef selections were top quality. Grilling unit is very clean and not smoky at all. Side dishes of kimchi, tofu, salad and miso soup rounded up an excellent meal. We'll be back for more, for sure!

Very nice staff who are keen on the menu and helpful to guide tables in selection. Meat is sublime. Sides are great. Happy hour has Sapporo on draft.

Food great! It was our second time here wish waiter was more helpful in choosing what to eat. He just made me more indecisive. Our first experience was much better. Waiter recommended which meat to get and also help us with telling us which one to cook first due to grade of meat. Made the experience better! But overall good time and yummy food.

What a great dining experience! It was my second visit and it was equally great as my first. Our server, Steven, was very friendly and engaging. He made great suggestions and all of them we enjoyed. Outstanding!

The service at Han no Daidokoro, Ward Village is always outstanding. It is one of my go-to places for a lunch meeting. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Meat quality was superb, many Japanese A5 and American wagyu to choose from. They have many great side dishes like stone pot bibimbap, spicy soup, lettuce wraps and kimchi. Service was also excellent. Great experience here, we will definitely come back when we're in the area.

It was our first time there. Went to celebrate a special occasion. From beginning to end the service was great. Our server was attentive and provided explanations for all the items we ordered. Their food was delicious. We’re definitely going back.

I think the lunch special, the Washu Kalbi Set is a great value. The Price, quality and taste are excellent! I went there about 3 months ago for lunch and the service was not good (compared to my previous dinners) and I was a little disappointed... But at this lunch, my friend and I were grateful that our new server, a young Asian man, was very friendly and gave us perfect service! I will be back to Han no Daidokoro again soon!!
