We enjoyed our dinner and will be back. It was a little loud for us. The service was very good and the food was good. We will perhaps try some different dishes next time, but it's a nice place.
From brisket to ramen to lemongrass chicken, we all ate happily. Polite and attentive service, too. We'd never say upstairs in the moon room before, but it was a lovely spot.
The server that we had was very rude, not really taking genuine care of our table, and that kind of ruin the experience for us. Everything else was good
Chef Wong blew our minds with the various shrimp dishes, eggplant bruschetta, smoked marlin toast, beet salad, etc. Our bartender Jose mixed some delicious drinks and played upbeat rhythms which all combined to an elevated experience. Mahalo to all
Thank you Jen, Nico and Hailey. Great service, good beer and food. First time doing a sour🍺. Try the surf pup and mac n cheese🤙
Amazing experience at Hana Koa! The rice lager is the star and the food was 10/10. Would recommend the marlin toast.. so unique. Make it a stop, for sure!
Great food. Great atmosphere. Great drinks!
Good beers. Excellent staff.
We had a party of 15-20 and they took great care of us! The HH food and drinks are great and our server was super friendly!
My family and I come here every time we visit the island at least once. They have dedicated parking, the food and beer are fantastic, and the staff is always extraordinary in their service. My two young kids split a Mac and cheese which they now demand I make when we go home... The August special and the garlic shrimp were demolished by my wife and I. Honestly the only way you can go wrong is to not come

Great beer… add fried pickles to your menu and it would be legit. Also.. you have a Great Wall on the outside to do a mural... take the chance on a local artist.
Service was prompt. Food was tasty and fairly priced. Beers were great. Parking is scarce so plan on about a 5 -7 minute walk to the restaurant after finding street parking.
Visited Hana Koa Brewery last night. Tried the Hana Koa Burger--it was mediocre at best. The patty was probably frozen (you can usually tell by how perfectly round it is) and while the brioche bun was solid, the toppings were minimal to almost nonexistent.
My 9-year-old got the mac and cheese, which was a good portion. I also ordered extra onion rings for $5--while I usually don't complain about portion sizes, I only got five decent onion rings for that price.
Service was a miss. Our server either seemed to be having a bad day or just didn't care; we saw multiple tables get seated, get drinks, and served food before we even got ours.
That said, the beer is excellent. Their IPAs are amazing, especially the Gold Cart Rebellion--a west coast IPA that's super hoppy, exactly how I like it.
Overall, I'd give the restaurant a 3, but the beer bumps it to a 4. I'll go back, but I'll keep my expectations for the food a bit lower so I'm not disappointed.
Excellent food and beverages. Golf Cart Rebellion is outstanding for a West Coast IPA. The old-fashioned was next level! Hana Koa burger was grilled to perfection. In all, I highly recommend it!
Great beer, Great merch. Huge shout-out to Katy!
