Spent a week at The Hilton Waikiki and the Hang 10 bar on the pool deck was a daily stop! Nick is awesome, very personable but also professional, and an amazing bartender! Great spot to hang a quick drink or two, hit a swim, and then resume vacation activities! Happy Hour prices on food and drinks are bomb!

We had the most wonderful experience with the staff, super friendly and very fun. The kalbi short ribs were to die for. I can’t believe I can’t have them everyday.

Great atmosphere spurred on by the great attitudes and enthusiasm from the bartenders. Thr location is on the pool deck of the Hilton Waikiki. If you are staying there don’t forget to go say hello to Dana and Peter, both will great you with a friendly smile and a nice array of tropical cocktails. Thanks again.

Bartender awesome, location awesome. Fish and chips were all breading. Maybe 5% fish, 95% bucket hat vibes.

No real pool - Unfortunately the hotel has a temporary above ground pool set up in their courtyard and are not letting prospective guests know the real pool is closed probably for the rest of summer. When this issue was raised with hotel management they were rude and dismissive. I'd highly recommend not staying here, not worth the $$.

Not sure why people are whining about this hotel and the fees. It is Hawaii and they aren’t charging anymore than the other hotels. The parking fees are comparable at $45. Actually, the Doubletree down the road charges $50 per day to park and it’s self parking. The pool, unfortunately, is closed until October. They are re-surfacing the entire roof where the pool resides. But there is a wave pool downstairs. And you are close to the crystal clear waters on the beach. The staff was friendly and took care of our every need. Post-COVID, every hotel doesn’t do daily service (not sure why that surprises some people). However, if you ask for service, they will take care of you. We needed towels and a fan. No problem. The Mountain View is almost as impressive as the ocean view. If you spend all your time in your room worrying about the view then you aren’t getting much of a vacation. Get out and explore. Great location, one block from the beach, 15 minute walk to malls, restaurants, and shopping. Would go again, would stay at this hotel again.

Not at all what you would expect from the Hilton brand. $35 resort fee for a non-resort. There are no amenities that make it resort quality. There is basically an above ground swim spa that they advertise as their pool. I didn't rent a car due to the $45/night parking fee. Fortunately everything was within walking distance. NO housekeeping during the duration of our 6day/5 night stay. Prices for food were typical of the island but not as good. The ocean view is only obstructed by the 2-3 other hotels in front of them but I wouldn't know bc I got a Mountain View (not by choice). Front desk should notify guest that balcony door as to be closed & locked for AC unit to work properly. Wakiki is beautiful; Hilton needs to do better.

Visited the Hilton for four nights in May as part of a cruise package deal.Firstly queued for over an hour checking in.Hotel wouldn't give you the room key until after 4pm unless you paid $75.Rooms although a good size desperately required a major refurbishment.Prices for drink and food in the hotel complex were Extortionate.( $30 for two beers ) Two members in our group were charged $275 to keep their room for five hours after the official check out time. I wouldn't visit here again.

negative - small rooms, thin walls so you can hear everything including screaming kids using the hallways to play knock and run at 5:30am which the hotel does nothing about. phones don’t work in the rooms, the extensions just ring out and well once you have paid the staff are less than helpful. the pillows are horrendous - the doona on the bed is thicker than them and the beds are pretty uncomfortable you can feel the springs poking through, pools close early which is odd since there are no lifeguards on duty anyway and they have no restrooms close to the pools positive - good view over the water and for the fireworks, plenty of places to swim but anyone can swim in any of the pools it’s not hotel exclusive

This hotel is a Hilton but the management sucks. Just flat out horrible responsive management. Let’s look at the negative property quirks: 1. On the Hilton website it clearly states $45 per night for valet parking. Nowhere does it state large vehicles and off site parking is $60 per night. Period I have a screen shot of the site with the date and time stamp proving it. 2. The restaurant can’t cook, period, the breakfast is either burnt, cold or just plain horrible and way over priced. Plus the silverware and glasses were dirty on multiple occasions, again with pictures stamped with the date and time as proof. When telling the waitress they just say sorry and bring you another dirty item. Just horrible way to serve a customer. Then to top it off the host always greets you with a stupid question, “do you have a coupon”? What the hell does that have to do with sitting you to eat? Does a coupon put you in special seating or give them a reason to make your stay worse? 3. If you have a disability forget it, there’s no handicapped ramps or spots you can park in to load and unload because it’s just a drive up circle to drop off and pickup. The front entrance has an insert for pickup and drop off but there are scaffolds in front and no ramps for a wheelchair. 4. The gift shop doesn’t let you bill items to you room or give you a bag to carry what you purchase unless you make a large purchase. It’s already a over priced store as is so you would think a little bag to carry your purchase would be a simpleton solution. 5. They have a really cool magic show, a bit pricey but worth it for the cause some of the proceeds go to but the cocktail service and food service they advertised is false. The first night we went to the show there was no cocktails, the lady said “ I’m going home there’s not enough customers, so it not worth it for me to work”. Nice you spend $200 bucks for a show and you can’t even enjoy it. So the sandwich, lousy to begin with from the restaurant downstairs stayed in it’s container because we had no drinks to consume with it. 6. The little tiny refrigerator they call a refrigerator is a stupid useless appliance. It doesn’t keep anything cold and is not worth counting on. They had to replace ours so we could keep snacks cold. But even the replacement did work well. 7. On the brighter side the rooms are pretty good but over priced, however housekeeping does do a really good job at keeping the rooms clean and supplied with needed amenities.

If you want to stay in Waikiki, there are plenty of other hotels that offer better accommodations for the same price if not cheaper. Parking is an outrageous $45 per day, getting in and out of the crammed hotel is terrible. Everything is overpriced and the hotel doesn’t even provide room service but once every five days.

Great hotel with a perfect location. Professional and courteous staff. Good food and wonderful happy hour. Close to the beach. Love that they offer beach chairs, surf boards, and boogie boards to guests.
