Hanks is no longer. These post are old. Ever since Hank sold the place its not the same as it used to be in years past. The big fat guy ar the door tried to make me pay him 10 bucks to get in. There's no cover charge for as long as I been there.

B and Jake are the best bartenders. honestly all their bartenders are so charismatic and knowledgeable. it’s the perfect local dive bar any time of day. everyone is always friendly and i think i’ve ever paid for allll my drinks just once. it’s a real community spot and we all take care of each other. love Hanks and all the people there !

You gotta be cool though, or else it might be too much for you. 2 people got kicked out, I got 2 rounds of free drinks, and there's a fabulous man named Jeremy who is a national treasure and should be protected at all costs. Wess(?) The bartender is awesome.I've never wanted to move to Honolulu more.

Never go on a first Friday! You can get a cheaper stronger drink at a strip club, which is crazy, instead of this place. Plus, I had to pay a $10 cover to get in. Ridiculous!
