I'm very disappointed in my recent service at heartmoon. I love coming here as I enjoy the food, however, recently, my server Nana was being really disrespectful to her ethnic coworker in front of all the customers. It made me very uncomfortable, and I could tell that it made others uncomfortable as well. I come to a bar to enjoy the ambiance and service and I would expect the workers to provide a comfortable space for me. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I don't like bullying, and seeing her bully her co worker all night put me off. Especially when her coworker was doing an amazing job and has always given me 5 star services. I would like to believe that working in this type of industry, you would need to work as a team, no matter the age difference or ethnic group. It's very unfortunate, as Nanas attitude affects the view of your company. This is not the first time I've seen this behavior from her and that is the reason I'm writing this review, something needs to be done. Besides the negative stated above, I do however want to positively acknowledge that the girl with the hair locks that is being bullied, is an amazing bartender. I notice how she has such charisma with all of her customers, as well as her coworkers, and her happy go-lucky attitude is what I expect from a server/bartender. Please consider hiring more bartenders/servers like her! A welcoming smile and warm conversation goes a long way.

Restaurant looked nice from the inside, but the entrance is still a work in progress. The menu is also not fully available, but they still present it; I assume this is to show you the drinks available, but it is still bothersome. The staff are respectful and friendly. The food is where things went wrong. The edamame and sausages were delicious, but that was it. I ordered the fried chicken and it was still raw in the center. The staff were courteous enough to remake it. When I finally tried it, it wasn't seasoned. I was able to order a side of salt and lemon to save it. The hamburger steak was delicious and beautiful. It was served on a bed of mashed potatoes which tasted way too thin. Describing mashed potatoes may sound strange, but try it and you may understand. The sauce around the hamburger steak tasted like it came from a sauce packet, but it was a good sauce packet with more sweet flavors. The meat was the best part of the hamburger steak. It was well seasoned, had onions inside, and was well portioned. I don't believe I'd ever eat here again. I do hope that the performance improves as the restaurant continues to open. It shouldn't be too hard to fix.

Great ambience. Food was very good. I think it's just a cool place to chill after a long day. Not sure what it's like after 10:30 pm. Anyway, go here in casual but nice lounge wear. The place is clean. White sofas. Decent size bar. Dim lighting with blue accents. Nice music. Private rooms with karaoke. Decent amount of parking. Staff is hit or miss. Friendly but not attentive. Had to ask for more drinks and condiments for the food. No one asked how we were doing or if we needed anything else...but they weren't horrible or rude. Maybe more training?

Don't let the outside fool you. Inside is a modern lounge type bar with an amazing sushi chef. The rosemary chicken is amazing with crispy light flaky texture over the hot savory chicken meat. I could see how they could easily get backed up but at pauhana time on a Friday they were still pretty slow and we didn't have to wait to get a drink.

Service is perfect.. the restaurant vibes is good. They are so gentle and friendly. Food is so delicious. I would suggest to try it . Worth to try it really.. price is not expensive along to the others... as ling as you are in hawaii, u need to try it.. the only thing i will miss when my vacation in Hawaii over

While on vacation I was wanting to listen to some Jazz. When I looked it up on the Internet it gave me the name of Heart Moon. I got dressed and went. This was a cozy place tucked away. I ordered food and the Chef made me some shrimp that was fantastic. Thanks Chef. The band was GREAT. I enjoyed myself so well. I plan to return. I told a few friends about this hidden Gem and they too have made plans to attend.

Love the decor. Comfortable seating options (tables, bar, booth, leather couches) Friendly, professional staff. Pride can be seen from cleanliness of seating area, bathrooms, the whole venue. (Additional features: separate karaoke roo.) Will definitely visit again.

Drinks a bit on the high price side, not a bad old fashioned but definitely not a fan of the ginger high ball. Stopped by to listen to a Herby Hancock tribute band led by a cool trumpeter Browntasaurus from Brooklyn. Great music! Really cool. Check this place out for yourself and see if you like it or not.
