Ono, good, delicious, amazingly tasty! My new local dish is the Kalbi bento plate. So yummy. Delicious tender Kalbi with salad sweet potato and pickled radish all good! Highly recommended!

I have been a regular at Hibachi since the day they opened. Not only is it my favourite poke place (spicy tobiko and thai chilli), but they also make great bentos (I personally love the Kalbi and teriyaki chicken with furikake mac salad and Okinawan sweet potato). The market aspect is also a nice addition (primarily alcoholic beverages).It’s a shame they can’t be open for dinner (they used to open to 8 pm), I know this prevents a lot of people from going more regularly (including myself).Not impressed that they introduced a credit card surcharge due to “rising costs” on top of also significantly increasing the menu prices. I understand inflationary pressures on menu prices but the credit card processing fees have been a cost of doing business and in the cost structure of restaurants for decades.
Parking: Free parking in the garage if under 1 hour.

Ordered sweet potato and got regular roasted potato and they were cold and not cooked well. Rice was slightly cold too. Chicken wasn’t too bad but service wasn’t

Noooooooooo! What kind of monster puts thousand island on a bleu cheese burger?!?! I probably should have expected it, but it was still very annoying. It luckily was only in one side of the bun and was covered by lettuce so I could take off that side and eat the burger as an open-faced sammich. The burger was nicely cooked to medium. The regular fries are good, thick steak fries with a rough texture on the outside that catch the salt.Solid takeout spot that has some indoor cafeteria seating and a few outside tables. Good mix of food prepared fresh, so you can wait 20 minutes or so for it to be ready. Big fridges with a wide drink selection. They have prepped meals to cook at home.

Don’t pay premium price for BAD food. I ate here tonight and was served old rice, bad poke and to top it all off, unbeknownst to me at the time I purchased EXPIRED beer from them! I was excited to crack into my food after ordering takeout but was totally let down. The beer was 3 months expired! Don’t go here

Love this place! Awesome bento combos and love all of their side choices (especially when they have the okinanwan sweet potatoes and candied sweet potatoes!) The poke is fresh, the staff is super friendly, and definitely recommend trying out their meal prep service- everything I got was great!
The furikake ahi ranks as among the best in Honolulu for bang for your buck! Whenever I'm not sure where I want to go for lunch. I end up coming here because I know the food is always amazing!Entrees are made fresh to order, and the poke is always phenomenal.

Used to love this place. Stopped going for a while when they advertised a prime rib as a plate but it wasnt. Now they got rid of the plates altogether and probably wont be back

Tasty regular spot I go for lunch or dinner in Kakaako. The meats and fish are good. I particularly like the steak and lamb. Fairly quick wait from ordering to getting your food. Sides are good too. I usually get the tofu, potato sides.
