Great Hawaiian cuisine! We loved everything we got but the deep fried butterfish collar with stew gravy was particularly amazing.

Always love Highway inn. Food and service is always great and they are all so pleasant

This place is amazing! The service is awesome! 💯 I ordered the Kailua pig sliders, the loco moco, and the Fish sandwich with a taro bun. I would definitely come back again.

This is a Hawaiian restaurant that I took to, probably because it has been run by Japanese Americans for several generations, and the flavors and names of the dishes are a bit nostalgic for Japanese people, so it was very delicious❗️

My first meal in Hawaii and it blew me away. It set the bar extremely high for the trip. Highway Inn was so good that I went back on another day for a second meal. Everything was flavourful and punchy. Kalua Pork was smokey which gives an amazing flavour.

I personally feel Highway Inn is much better than Waiahole Poi Factory.

Staff here refused to seat us even though plenty of seats were open, including bar seating. Saw a group come in and asked to be seated at the bar and had no wait. When I asked for the same, she refused and said it would be another 10 minutes. Got sick of waiting after 30 minutes where there were clearly available tables. Horrible business practices.

Happened Thursday evening this past week. This wouldn't explain how others arriving after us were immediately seated at the bar when requested however when I asked for the same request, I was refused. I went down to Indochine and was treated with respect and had a lovely meal.

Food was very average. Loco Moco could have been better. The service was good but the atmosphere were normal.
