Food was ok, nothing worth noting, With it being a Hawaiian food site one would hope that at least that was good. It was ok. But not worth the price.

The squid Lu au was especially amazing and the loco moco was one of the best I’ve ever had. Lomi Salmon was a close second. Loved it all.

I feel like you really have to know what to order on the menu. They won't allow reservations for parties under 6; but gave us a hard time for splitting the checks for 5 people. They didn't want to do itemized receipts. When we asked the server to fix our receipts he got upset and took a really long time with it.The bartender poured us the wrong drink, when we asked him to fix it he put our 16 dollar Hawaii coco drink in a plastic cup. Instead of the display glass cup with the umbrella on top. They weren't necessarily rude but they weren't great either. Our food was alright, but nothing special.

I ordered a simple burger medium cooked..When I received it it was well done asked to have it remade , and the cook said he was unable to cook it medium which baffles me and wanted me to eat it as cooked I said no thank you and sent it back and didn’t eat plus my wife’s sweet potato was over cooked.. never going back due to cooks service…

Best authentic hawaiian food, taste absolutely delicious. The tasting plate is great for trying a bunch of things. I love the squid luau, kalua pig, chicken long rice, fried butterfish collar, ahi lomi. Can’t go wrong with anything. The kulolo walnut brownie is served hot with ice cream. Must try if you’re on the island!

Everything we tried was 10/10. Kalbi is well marinated. Mac salad that come with it goes well with kalbi too and pork lau lau is the best I have ever had. Service is very friendly too! 10/10

Very genuine Hawaiian menu options and I'm still learning the cuisine. Prices are reasonable and portions are substantial! My wait staff was very kind and welcoming me since it was my first visit to the restaurant. There was a wait for a table but I took the option of eating at the bar which has the benefit of seeing the cooking and preparation in the kitchen.

A place that serves authentic Hawaiian cuisine!?? The locals highly recommend this spot for those who want to try some Hawaiian dishes!Atmosphere: The interior reminded me of a building that would have been on Lilo & Stitch! The branding is clean with an accented green color and wall art that brings the space to life!Service: We waited at the table for a little while before we were able to place our orders, but the food delivered very quickly!Menu items: I got the Loco Moco which had egg, chicken, and rice with a sauce poured on top! Hawaiian food is an acquired taste, but I would not mind trying different dishes! My mom got the smaller that had a little bit of everything! I’ve learned that rice, sweet potato, and greens are popular in Hawaiian dishes!

This place was recommended to me by a local and for good reason: if you want to try a taste of traditional Hawaiian cuisine this is a great place to start. There are many things on the menu, but I went with the traditional platter that showcase some of the most local foods on the island. It is a must try. Everything from the poi to the lomi salmon to the pork was excellent, and the regular size is enough for two people. On top of that, the service was fast and friendly. I can’t recommend this place enough.

This is the closest traditional Hawaiian restaurant to Waikiki. I took a taxi to get here (15 mins in traffic). The food was phenomenal. Get the sampler!!!! Service was fast, friendly, great and patient! They were happy to take time to explain their traditional food to outsiders. Portions are GENEROUS. Prices are a steal for the portion size and tastiness. I left so happy and FULL. I was able to walk back to mid-Waikiki in an hour at a leisurely pace through a safe area and a very pretty park. It was a lovely time.
