Food overall was OK. Nothing special. I have had better. Nothing innovative in his cooking. The chef drank a lot. He kept saying his cup Is empty. Towards the end, he was kind of tipsy and loud. I wouldn't come back to this place or recommend to anyone.

Chef Ray is truly a Sensei in the sushi dojo. Hihimanu is one of our favorite sushi establishments in the world. We had a 2:00 pm appointment and enjoyed the privacy of a party of 3. The omakase was innovative, creative, and nom nom.

Chef Ray curated an amazing omakase menu that was perfect for our 20th anniversary. Lots of house made fresh ingredients and he flies in most of his products fresh from around the world same day. No freezing of anything especially the fish. Staff super attentive and friendly. Sous chef, Makana, also super cool. Highly recommend and will be back next time I'm in town.
