I ordered the Mattar Paneer. It had a smoky flavor- but little of the usual flavors of this dish (mattar paneer is my favorite Indian dish- I order it at every Indian restaurant I visit). The sauce was smoky- it almost had flavors similar to barbecue sauce, and the paneer had a cheap/generic texture and flavor. It didn't taste like any Indian dish I'd ever had. I can't remember the last time I had leftover naan- I usually eat every bite of it, but this was more like pita bread- it was different than any naan I've ever had due to how dense/thick it was. It didn't taste like naan. Overall the meal tasted like something you'd get in the frozen food isle of a grocery store. I ate from this restaurant a couple of years ago and it was okay. I'm not sure if they lost a chef or two- or if they're using cheaper ingredients to make a bigger profit. But this meal did NOT taste like Indian food. I didn't bother wrapping the leftovers. I gave it 2 stars (instead of 1) because the meal was hot and the naan had garlic on it. In summary, with all the other great Indian restaurants on Oahu, I can't think of a reason why I'd eat here again.

I walked out after going up to their serving window in this restaurant after seeing the horrendous condition of their kitchen⦠roaches can be seen from a distance crawling on the walls and food prep area. A vape on the cutting boardā¦unsanitary. Do they smoke in the kitchen? Like why would that be there?! On the cutting board that handles food!!! š¤®š¤®šµ Whatās worse is kitchen staff is dipping and spitting their dip in the trash can where all of the food handling isā¦š¤Æš¤¢š¬ it doesnāt take a microbiologist to know that bacteriaš¦ sprays when spittingā¦š¦ I am a regular customer at this establishment and I now wonder has all of my food been prepped in this kitchenās condition?!š„“ The idea horrifies meš°.
The front of the restaurant out of the kitchen is clean and organized, very inviting⦠the plants are beautiful, nice decorā¦whereās the same sense of pride in the kitchen?! The kitchen matters MORE in a restaurant because the food thatāll go in the mouths of PAYING customers is prepped and cooked there. I am absolutely appalled.
People, I am not a hater. I do appreciate quality when I see it. Any time Iāve dined here the servers are very professional and friendly ā very knowledgeable of the menu. My two favorite servers is the sweet gal from Nepal and the sister in hijab. They are both very accommodating and know the very definition of customer service. I dine in at this restaurant more often because I hope to have their service ā very rare to find servers like this these days. The quality of such impeccable service makes for an amazing dining in experience.š
The kitchen though ā what I witnessed⦠⦠until these issues get fixed, Iāll pause my dining inā¦because my health matters most. Managementā¦ownerā¦financial investors, roaches pose a MAJOR health risk!!! They carry disease! š¦ ā ļø You have different sizes of roaches which tells me this has been a problem for a whileā¦šµš¤Æ Your kitchen staff need to be trained better⦠No one is wearing hair nets, gloves even⦠no aprons⦠good God! š±
I walked by this restaurant today and saw a āConditional Passā sign hanging on their window⦠with the same issues Iāve experienced with their kitchenā¦Iām happy Iām not the only one that is concerned and even horrified!! ā ļø
Iām happy the state health department is now involved.
Do better whoever owns this place! If your standard of youāll be āour personal chefā means handling food in such a filthy and inhumane kitchen, I will pass and go to a fast food restaurant where at least I accept my fate ahead of time and even spend less money on a combo meal, knowing that such places are a 50/50 chance Iāll get food poisoning. I never expected to see a sit down restaurant kitchen in such squalor. Iāve been to 3rd world countries that have better kitchens vs. this kitchen in America⦠I am absolutely beside myself on this⦠like outright shocked. š³ I recommend you eat at this place knowing youāre taking a huge risk on your health. I survived COVID⦠I wonāt let this place take me out.

Decent spot for some halal Nepalese Indian food. First of all the rating is based on the location given that there aren't that many options. However it's pretty decent if you are craving it. Tried a couple of chicken items including tandoori chicken and chicken tikka kadai and they were good. However in terms of the restaurant itself is pretty small but cozy. However the problem is finding it. The GPS directions will get you lost in the parking garage as it is located in the bottom floor right in the parking garage. Just gotta go straight to the end hugging the stores on the left. I called the restaurant and they helped me find them

I had bad experiences for Indian food in past, but I never had this bad experience, food is tasteless at its beat level and worst, I am not sure if the cook knows what he is cooking in the name of Indian food. Highly highly not recommended.

Food was good but the wait was way too long! They are seriously short staffed in the kitchen! Few people left after waiting for over 30minutes.

The waiters were a mix as in some being cheerful, but some were not as helpful as others. The atmosphere was nothing too special although a lot of the people were very kind and generous. On the downside, the service was very slow and it took around an hour to get appetizers. Also, the bathrooms needed to be tended to a little more. To add on to that, the food was lacking some flavor and it took around long time for the food to arrive in general. Overall, the restaurant was good except for slow service and minor details.

I went here with my girlfriend after a long ten hour shopping trip and we ordered what felt like half the menu. Everything we tried was delicious and the staff were super friendly. I am so happy to be eating the leftovers tonight. We will definitely be going back here again!

Some of the best food ive ever had. I love to get a more moderately spiced dish and my partner can try and fight the spice gods and we can both be happy. The wait staff are so nice too. Even the vegetarian dishes make me drool and they serve enough for two meals!! Get the garlic naan and improve your day.
Wheelchair accessibility: Roll right up to a table, though some of the outdoor seating is at a slant.

Tucked away on the edge of Ala Moana, it was a lovely find. Most of seating is outside (alfresco isn't my preference, especially as cars drive past) but the curries and naan more than made up for it.

Great Indian food at a decent price, I do prefer their sister restaurant, Cafe India located in Kailua more than this one. This has done in option though which is nice and Kailua location is take out only.

The food is delicious. You can find authentic Indian and Nepalese food in Honolulu. The staff is also friendly. It was a little after lunch time, so it wasn't crowded and the food came out quickly. However, we cannot guarantee the atmosphere of the restaurant. If it tastes this good, it's okay.

The mango lassi was not thick yogurt, actually rather watery milky and mango nectar like.
I went here for lunch the other day and had some incredible appetizers. I got the Himalayan Spicy wings and the SAAG dip. Both were incredible and full of flavor. The food preparation was swift and the staff was very friendly. Iāll be back soon!
