“Amazing food! It was one of the best butter chickens I've ever had! We also had some delicious samosas in a sauce, saag paneer, and one of the tandoori chicken dishes. All delicious, but I'm still thinking about my butter chicken. Could eat the sauce by itself. 😄“

“When I'm at UH, this is my favorite place to eat. It's hard to resist picking up some Indian lunch. Several vegetarian options and good service. It's food court Indian, yes, but it's a cut above. So glad this is here!
Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options.“

“A Hidden Gem in Kaimuki – Clean, Friendly, and Delicious! I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Himalayan Kitchen in Kaimuki and can't wait to go back! First off, I was seriously impressed by how spotless the restaurant was — especially considering it's primarily an outdoor setup. The attention to cleanliness is unmatched. The owner personally came out and thoroughly wiped down each table with a cleaner that smelled fresh and inviting (none of that harsh chemical scent). It instantly made me feel welcomed and well cared for. Even the water glass — something I often dread at local spots due to lingering odors — was sparkling clean and crystal clear, with no unpleasant smell or taste. That alone made a huge impression on me. And believe it or not, even the ceiling of the outdoor lanai was clean. When’s the last time you noticed that? It’s rare and speaks volumes about the pride they take in their space. The food? Absolutely delicious. While I’m no expert on Himalayan or Indian cuisine, everything I tried was flavorful and comforting. I’m already planning my return trip so I can explore more of the menu and learn more about this rich culinary tradition. The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, personally offering me a seat on the lanai and making sure I had everything I needed. It's that kind of hospitality that turns a meal into an experience. If you’re looking for a clean, friendly, and high-quality place to eat in Honolulu, Himalayan Kitchen should be at the top of your list. Can’t wait to go back!“

“If you want unique food with amazing flavor and texture, you must try Neha’s Kitchen. Kuber of Neha’s Kitchen puts his skill and passion into each plate and he’s such a nice guy, too. I heard he even grinds up his own seasonings - the spices all work so well together.
I’ve tried the momo, samosa, bhatoora tarkvari, Lassi, gulak jamun, and maybe some other things that I can’t remember the names of but I liked it all!
If you ever see the pop-up at various food fests, you MUST give it a try!“

“Great and easy first time Indian food experience! The employees were super helpful in explaining the dishes and what they tasted like. The eggplant was definitely spicy! My plate could’ve easily been shared, but I enjoyed most of it myself.“

“I had originally ordered a delivery through DoorDash, but some of my order was missing. I called them and he was so kind and willing to help make sure I was happy. He helped me think of ways to make the problem right, even if it had been on DoorDash, and not on their restaurant. I went to pick up a replacement item and he was very understanding and totally wanting to help make me satisfied. Very friendly staff. And amazing food!“

“The service was good. Our waiter brought us food quickly. The garlic naan was exceptional. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is because they used the same exact tomato base for the Alu matar and Malai Kofta. The lemon rice was just plain yellow rice with a slice of lemon on the side! Not authentic lemon rice.“
