I finally walked into this place, and I am so happy that I did. The food was absolutely delicious. Not only did it taste wonderful, but it was visually appealing.
The service was terrific. She was fast & attentive.
I love this place!

Really bad service. We bought milk tea for us to enjoy. We were told that we could not bring in outside food from Chinatown even though we bought milk tea. They even made us throw away our own serving items. Never coming back there again.

Four of us came here for lunch on a Wednesday, and sat right away. Food didn’t take long to come out either.Parked in one of the municipal parking structures. The Wonton soup with egg noodles was delicious, broth tasty and a good amount of noodle serving; we got this 2x. The seafood laksa was delicious, but spicy! Two pieces each of shrimp, muscles, squid and imitation crab. The shrimp omelette with black pepper sauce was also good! Don’t get the spaghetti with tomato sauce. The peanut butter French toast was so good, but small for the price of $8.99!Lunch with all these dishes and two sodas came out to just under $90. Glad we tried them out, but probably won’t return.

This is the cutest little mom and pop restaurant. We were greeted immediately after arriving and the server finished cleaning our table and putting it together to make room for our party of five. The ambience is really nice. There's a cute tile pattern on the walls and there are plenty of HK Posters and photos around the restaurant. Our server/hostess was kind and very patient with us. She repeated our orders to make sure they were ok and made sure to answer any questions we had.All of our food was out in less than 20 minutes. Each dish was served as it was prepared. The soup came, followed by the chow fun and then my omelette and rice. The food was clearly freshly made and very delicious. I highly recommend coming by and getting food here.

Just ordered to-go today. Amazed by the taste which matched with real traditional HK taste. The hot milk-coffe/tea was good. And the Dry Stir Fried Beef Noodle (乾炒牛河) had real HK style taste. Place was packed in and out, lined up for table on Sat. ??

The lunch trio stopped in at HK Café on Maunakea St because we received good reviews from a few co-workers and friends. HK Café took over the space previously occupied by Happy Garden, just North of Hotel Street. The menu is a single, double-sided plastic encased sheet; with different (lower) prices than seen on the menu for the Waikiki location. We tried the Beef Brisket and Beef Tendon Stewed Noodles, Seafood Laksa with egg noodles and the Curry Fish Balls (sorry, no pic). The menu cautioned that it could take up to twenty minutes to prepare certain dishes; it took nine minutes for the noodle dishes, almost twenty minutes for the laksa and a little longer for the fish balls. The beef brisket / tendon dish ($16) reminded us of a similar dish from Mini Garden but the soup is vastly superior. The laksa ($17) was spicy (yes!) and contained two large shrimp, two mussels and pieces of squid and fishcake. The dish that disappointed us was the curried fish balls ($11); it was hyped as a “must have” by an acquaintance … Uh, underwhelming was the group consensus.Final thoughts … excepting the fish balls, we liked what we ordered and would return. That’s about as good an endorsement as our group doles out for a casual dining spot.

This place just started their night hours last month. We ordered fried rice and fried (rice & flat) noodles. The new cook was very very good. They also served soup with our dishes. Finally, a good place to eat at night in Chinatown.

A new restaurant in Chinatown. Clean and customer friendly. Just a bit more expensive than your typical Chinese restaurant in the area but delicious. 90% locals.
