The audacity to request 25% on the tipping screen when the staff are this bothered to do their job is crazy. No eye contact, no smiles, and twice when I’ve asked for ketchup when my food arrived the person pointed and said “over there” and ran away. There’s a bin for guests to clear their own dishes and food is ordered at a counter. I’m curious what part of service exactly management expects the tip to go towards?

It's about a 10-minute walk from Kuhio Avenue or Rakaua Avenue, with the statue of King Kalakaua in front of you.Just after crossing the Ala Wai Canal bridge. The inside of the store was bright and the sunlight was shining in from the sky, creating a very nice and comfortable atmosphere. If you sit at the counter, you can watch the roasting being done right in front of you.We had a relaxing time eating cafe latte, Banana Bread, and Chia pudding Parfait. On the wall are large pictures and explanations that explain the history of coffee, and in the shop, coffee beans, cups, soap bags, etc. are neatly displayed for sale.I first purchased Honolulu Coffee's Banana Bread when I stayed at the Luana Waikiki Hotel, where they sold Honolulu Coffee's bakery products at the Fish Hook Cafe on the 1st floor. All of the breads were delicious, but the Banana Brea was not too sweet, fluffy and had a nice banana scent, and I remember buying several pieces during my stay.At the Honolulu coffee shop, it was the last one, so it was safe.Chia pudding parfait is a chewy dessert cup filled with chia seeds, cacao nibs, and blueberries. It was chewy and had a delicious faint cocoa flavor.

Pricey but delicious! Hawaiian latte was 10/10. Husband got the nitro which he loved, but it was super small. Wish we would’ve been given a heads up based off the high price tag. Otherwise would definitely come back.

I agree with other reviews that state the staff seem a bit uninterested, apart from the ones taking my order at the counter. Both me and a woman before me had to ask for someone to check us out at the gift area.Coffee was good. Smoothie was delicious. Beautiful atmosphere. Quiet at 6:30am.

Apart from the staff member taking orders at the counter, the staff were solemn and more interested in chatting amongst themselves than interacting with customers. Dirty dishes were left on tables for quite some time and some patrons had to sit at those tables as there were no others free.

Very spacious with amazing quality and coffee roasting on site which smells great and fun to watch. It can get busy on the weekends but the prompt service moves things along quickly enough. There are a lot of people studying and hanging out & it’s a great place that, I believe, is worth the little extra money. They sell souvenirs and bagged coffee near the entrance as well.

I stopped by because I heard there was a coffee factory. When you enter the store, your nose will be very happy with the strong scent of coffee. My husband chose drip coffee. I had a quick breakfast with Hawaiian latte and strawberry whipped cream cake. It's the start of a very satisfying day and my last day in Hawaii. I highly recommend you give it a visit!
