Didn't order food so the 5* are for the drinks. Tiny little bar but loads of atmosphere. Great to meet the friendly and welcoming barkeep Kendrick, highly recommended if you are looking for no frills and just a place to rest and have a drink or two.
I was looking for a chill and friendly bar and this place met those expectations and more. The GM and our two bartender's (they said I could refer to them as tie guy and bald guy) were so friendly and welcoming to us tourists. I was born in Honolulu and left when I was a baby. This was the welcome back "home" I needed. I hope to see them all again before I leave. Thank you for the wonderful memory and warm welcome back to my birthplace.
If you want a reasonably priced cocktail or beer poured by a friendly bartender, look no further. This is a comfortable space filled with some of the friendliest people I have met since I have been here. If you are looking for a fancy experience, there are certainly other options nearby. Would strongly recommend for people who want a good cocktail, excellent conversation and to catch a game.
