The staff greeted us warmly from the moment we walked in.
Most importantly, the bread itself is outstanding — a wide variety, all delicious. You can really feel the care and effort put into each and every bread. They are not overly sweet, incredibly soft, and even the cakes have a great texture.
Especially when paired with the Honu latte, the flavors of the bread really shine. You can truly tell that everything is made with care and thoughtfulness.

This place is seriously one of those hidden gems in Hawaii!
I’ve tried a lot of bakeries including many Korean bakeries in the U.S., and this one truly stands out. It’s the kind of place you keep coming back to once you try it.
The Honu Latte, Turtle Bread, Egg Tart are my personal favorites. You can really tell their dough is different — soft, rich, and made with care. Nothing feels heavy or overly sweet, just really well balanced.
Whether you’re visiting or living in Hawaii, it’s 100% worth stopping by! Highly recommend!🧡

I really like their cakes with cute designs like Hello Kitty. I also like trying out their pastries and bread. Many of the deserts and pastries look very appealing. Some of the pastries are very sweet while others are less sweet based on your own preferences. Staff are also quite friendly. Overall, it’s a very cute and aesthetic bakery and it’s also giving café. ^_^

This is my go to place for desserts. I normally go to the King street location but went to Bishop Museum and lunch at Kam shopping center. I saw Honu bakery and was excited to check out the desserts. I entered the store and asked a question about locating tongs and this girl gave me this sarcastic answer. I did not like that. At the check out a younger girl was friendlier and thanked me which I appreciated that. My go to would be King St and I’ll skip Kam location next time.

BEST CREAM PUFFS ON ISLAND!!! Best bakery on Oahu overall! Guaranteed delicious. Sometimes they have ube cream puffs which are the best. We have been coming to this bakery for years, and they always impress even someone picky like me. Their items are all so cute, yummy, and taste freshly made. Coffee is very strong, I drink caffiene and energy drinks daily, but this coffee really wakes me up like no other. You really can't go wrong, so whether you're visiting or from here, you gotta swing by. Make your trip worth it!

Very cute bakery that felt like something you could find in Asia. I only purchased the famous Honu bread to try because I love chestnuts. Unfortunately there are not many in the Honu bread I had, or raisins either. But there is so much whipped cream or butter cream?

I share this in here yesterday 9/3/2025 around 5: 40 pm my son and my daughter pick me up to my work in Waikiki, I'm dropping my daughter off at my house co's she had a tooth pulled, then we went to kalihi Kamehameha shopping center to buy a medicine for my daughter my son he went to longs and I went to Honu bakery to buy my favorite sweet potato when I enter the entrance door the one young men standing in front of the entrance door he say hello to and I response to him I said hi, I walk around inside and the two women followed me inside, the other lady she's wearing a full black dress and the other one she's wearing shorts with jewelry this two are Filipino, they look around too, me I'm standing in front of the shelves co'z I'm waiting the saleswomen and this two women went to cashier to buy a tiramisu cake, without even asking me if I wanted to buy, now they have a women enter she's wearing a military suit and she's standing behind me, but the two women still in the cashier later the other cashier she came to my side I though she was going to me but she's not, she's going to the women the one wearing a military suit, I fell disappointed co'z I'm the one enter but the cashier she entertain them, why because my face haggard and my clothes ugly I'm wearing a black shirt adidas and jogging pants I left felling bad when I came out I cried I'm hurt of what they did, this is second time ,the first one I buy 1 pcs. marble bread and 1 slice sweet potato and 1 slice strawberry cream cake they charge me 3 slice of cake I call them they charge me 3 slice of cake but the other cake they never give it to me ,that time they almost close.
First I want to start off by saying the bread is fire. BUT on behalf of myself and a lot of other people can you make the turtle bread plain like without the raisins and pineapple stuff inside as an option. Thank you

Cheated on my diet with a curry croquette today. 10/10 would do it again.
I stopped by last minute to find a birthday cake, and the staff were extremely pleasant and patient. The Japanese style Oreo cheesecake was delicious. This is going to be my go-to bakery from now on!

Been ordering Thai coffee for 35 years and this was the worse. She dumped all the milk in there. It was 95% milk. Not sweet or strong as a Thai should be.
