I eat here maybe once a week when I’m in town. Big fan of the aloha bowl. The fish is always nice and fresh. If you eat in, they will bring you your food and a glass of water. Service is quick. Highly recommend

A quick take-out lunch on Saturday in December 2024.
Inside the store, there are already 5 groups of customers waiting for the same takeout.
・Tuna Combo 18.95$
・Tuna Poke Salad 16.95$
・Gyoza Udon Combo 16.95$
Order.
22 minutes later, I finally received it😅
The food is nothing special. I guess the problem is that the delivery time is too slow...

What can I say, I’m a white guy from the mainland who originally thought sushi was an alt spelling for Suzy. All that being said, I ended up there twice and both times the Suzy, err sushi was great. Had hamachi, tuna, spicy tuna, and salmon. All good to me. But the price was the winner. Pieces ended up costing around $3 a piece. Compared to where I have to pay $7 for less fresh, less quality cuts, winner.
Note: selection is limited so if you are looking for more specialized fish, you may not find it here…unless they have a secret Suzy menu.

Ordered spicy ahi bowl but they had a weird sweet sauce and a lot of it (this sweet sauce isn’t typical for spicy ahi in Hawaii). Also, I went to the bathroom right after one of the employees and noticed that they didn’t have a soap and tissues. I hope they do use soap but I didn’t see any…

Pretty good value here. Great for hungry (pre)teens. I got the hamachi kama—solid, with a side of spicy tuna which was sauced in a more tasty way than I usually encounter. I also enjoyed the multi-pop (ie all Asian varieties) playing as ambiance music

We got super volcano roll and chicken teriyaki bowl. The roll was big and flavorful but the bowl was a letdown. We had to mix wasabi from the sushi into the bowl to add flavor. But maybe our bad for ordering chicken from a fish market.
If you are looking for good sushi then it’s a good place!
