FOOD POISONING!!!
Me and my friend went there and they gave us food poisoning. I saw another review and it was the same day as us!! They don’t even let you sit down, and the food sucks! I hope this place closes down.

... best honey walnut shrimp I've ever had in my life and this was ordering from ubereats so I can only imagine how amazing it is in person. Shrimp were huge and the batter had a great crunch to it, sauce was PERFECT, walnuts were PERFECT. Wow Wow! My mind is blown! I will definitely be coming back over and over for it! Drool worthy!

When you buy a dish, the bottom line, it should look like the picture and that's rare. Hoy Tin is THE spot to go to for the best Chinese food on Oahu!!! Their prices are a few bucks cheaper than anyone else and you'll never grumble about their very nice portions. There is another place that was the same but blaming the pandemic, their prices shot up and their portions went down. With a huge menu, I've been eating at Hoy Tin's Chinese daily.

We ordered online and picked up our food. The wait time wasn't long, quicker than I had expected actually. We had sweet/sour pork, shrimp fried rice and crispy gau gee mein with cake noodle. The pork was good but there was a bit too much sauce for my preference, the fried rice didn't really have too much flavor but after I poured shoyu on it, she go! The cake noodle was definitely my favorite part, I loved the sauce, I love that it was loaded with vegetables and meat, it was the best part or our order truthfully. The gau gee was good too but they didn't give us any sauce for it and that's what it really needed. But on a scale of 1-10, I'd give this place a 8.5, lol

Cooked to order solid Chinese food. We had the sweet and sour pork, Singapore noodles, fried shrimp and fried dumplings. It was all good but, not super good. It’s a fresh, good, reliable Chinese take out place.

One of the few places left on island that gives you that nostalgic feel of the old school chop suey style Chinese restaurant. Food is good and portions are generous. If you in the Liliha area, make sure to hit them up. There are quite a few gems in this area too.

Had a coworker takeout order Char siu chow fun for me, $10.99. Char siu pieces are tiny, too much soy sauces, so the food is OK.

We just ordered take out from there a couple days ago. The food is wonderful! I haven't tried everything on their menu yet but definitely will do that. Beef chow funn with black bean sauce is excellent. Prices are good also! Just have to ve lucky when you go since only street parking is available (I think).

The price of this place is amazing. But they still keep the quality of food great. If you want to have good Chinese food without the big bill, here is the place for you. Recommend phone order, so you don't have to
