If you're used to a regular hotdog, you're in for an experience! The hotdog/sausage was packed/wrapped inside of footlong taro bread with various toppings. Hotdog/sausage was very tasty and juicy. Perfect with the bread and toppings. The bread was good by itself. There are also various kinds of lemonade to choose from. Had this specialty lemonade with strawberry in it. It was really good.

Have been stopping buy hula dog for years since they were in the old international market place. The dogs them self are amazing I had a hotdog with the sweet bun and my favorite 3 toppings. The bun could of been toasted more but still a vacation favorite. Not really a fan of the new location.

Super yummy and unique hot dogs with a local twist! You can custom “build your own” or choose from their preset menu. My family of 5 all got something slightly different but ours were all delicious. The lilikoi mustard is yum and very unique, and love the sweet/spicy/savory combo of all the flavors. Parking is also ample and free, with lots of outdoor seating. (It’s in a large lot with a few other food trucks.) We will definitely be back! 🤙🏼

Wheelchair accessibility: The lot is flat, there is one step intro the area to order but if you had someone to help order it wouldn’t be a problem!

We ordered the hula dog here. Basically a taro base bun that is sweet and buttery with a beef and pork garlic hot dog. We topped it with medium spice jalapenos, tropical relish, and Hawaiian mustard. If you're in the mood for hot dogs, worth a try as it is different than your run-of-the-mill options.

If you’re looking for a unique dining experience, this will check that box. Located on the side of Kapiolani Blvd just down the street from the Convention Center and Ala Moana is a small parking lot (very limited parking) with a handful of food trucks. Hula Dog is right off the sidewalk.
The buns used for the dogs are what you would see in a traditional Pig in a Blanket. They are SO soft and delicious. Depending on what dog you get and add-ons will depend on taste but the one I had was absolutely delicious. The Hawaiian mustard was a great addition to the dog and made for a unique flavor. One Hula Dog will definitely fill you up for lunch or even dinner.
