Nice place. But bought out cold fish and chips (colder than the air temp! how?!?) and then when asked for fresh cooked, just reheated. drink from bar wasn't any better, fruits used were sour (supposed to be a sweet drink).

Really enjoyed our meal here. Very nice dinner, with tasty options. Enjoyed the BBQ chicken and the carbonara pasta. We were ready to call it a night until we saw a Hula Pie exiting the kitchen and knew we had to order one. It was worth it.Also, come during daylight so you can catch the great views of the ocean!

Hula pie! Multiple stops here on our Oahu trip. Drinks, dinner, apps, breakfast. Love. Will be a regular stop when we visit the island. Or when we live there....

Hula Grill is located upstairs from Dukes. Similar food but better view of the ocean and the sunset. You can choose to wait for a full menu or sit in the bar area (family friendly) for a smaller menu with burgers, fries etc.
Nice view if you can get a table on the terrace. Didn’t realize it is a sister restaurant to Dukes - so identical cocktail options, but different food. The food was good, nothing spectacular - but worth a visit. The filet was good, but the pasta was overcooked dried pasta, not fresh pasta. Didn’t care for the pasta at all.

My family and I had balcony seats and we were able to enjoy live music. The service was top notch. My son and I have severe dairy/nut allergy and the waitress made sure the chef knew of this. The rib eye is made with a dairy rub and the chef cooked a dairy free steak with a side of chimichurri and steamed veggies. The rib eye melted in my mouth. So delicious and safe to eat! Thankful for restaurants who take food allergies seriously because it can be deadly. I will definitely be back!
I had such a wonderful experience at Hula Grill! I had a beautiful view of the ocean and palm trees, a kind and responsive waiter (Paco!) and hostess, and delicious food. I had the guava bbq chicken and grilled zucchini as well as a piece of their famous Hula Pie! I also had a yummy Hula-rita served in a tiki glass! So festive and with awesome Hawaiian vibes! ?

Cambrie is an excellent waitress. She took care of me care of me very well and truly valued the fact that I was a tourist for a week. She gave me amazing advice on places to explore and visit while I am here. She deserves more than what a business owner gives her and is definitely one of the best! Not only does she care to work hard, she cares about keeping the atmosphere the way it is. She is an awesome addition to the team and should be retained as long as possible!
