My family took me there to celebrate Father's Day. Jerrell and the wait staff were great. My porterhouse steak was grilled perfectly and the banana foster was awesome. I've been going there for 30 plus years now and have never been disappointed.
We think this is the best place to get a steak in Waikiki. We’ve tried elsewhere, including the overly expensive celebrity chef’s restaurant (which was TERRIBLE) and nowhere meets the quality of the food, the service or the ambiance. Other steak houses have equaled in one or two of those categories, but none but Hy’s gets EVERYTHING right. Go. Be sure to make a reservation!
HY's was one of the best places we dined at this trip. We will definitely be back on our next trip.
