The portions are huge—I wish they offered a kids' or senior-sized option—but it's one of our favorite shaved ice shops near Waikiki Beach. They provide to-go cups with lids, so you can easily take it back to your hotel. We highly recommend the pineapple and strawberry flavors.

Went here on Monday after getting lunch nearby and it was wonderfully not busy. Got the highly rated mango shave ice and it was good, but toooo huge for me. I went with one friend and we ordered one monster to split, but in reality we could have split the small and likely still would’ve each had more than enough. Great taste if you like sweet things, and the ice cream + milk pudding was a nice touch.
Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly, seems like a fine spot to treat your kid(s) and eat with them indoors. A father had brought his young (2-3 y/o?) daughter and was sharing shave ice with her while I was there.

Ice Monster was awesome! We went twice. It’s a little pricey, but that’s because it is a very special type of dessert. It was just like I had when I was living in Taiwan. The texture is really fluffy, and the flavor goes throughout the dessert (in contrast to Hawaiian shave ice, where some bites are more flavorful and others are more icy). We had the pineapple, mango, and strawberry flavors. Also, I appreciated that many of the flavor bases were dairy-free, so the dessert could be friendly for lactose-intolerant eaters by excluding just 1-2 extra toppings.

Our first shave ice experience, and it spoiled us for any others. Huge portions, and a texture close to a sorbet. That condensed milk poured over the whole thing is super good. The strawberry was phenomenal.
If we lived in Honolulu, I would be here multiple times a week!

Delightful. Had the bubble tea flavour and the strawberry. Bit expensive, but a large was big enough for 2 adults and a toddler. Flavours were good.

Interesting take on shaved ice. Consistency is closer to sherbet when they are done. Most natural tasting flavor. To me was the best flavor of all the major shops. Service was friendly and super fast. Highly recommend but warning their portions are huge. We got the small size and you can see how big it is.
