Ichifuji is a staple for me and my friends when we come to town. They have amazing shabu shabu/hot pot. We usually get one of the fixed course (omakase) options which is pricey but worth it.The broth is great, the entrees are delicious, the side dishes are fulfilling too. The service is very professional and eloquent and the interior feels very Japanese authentic. At the end they even add the rice/egg porridge mixture into the broth. So yummy!!Highly recommend this place. There is a parking lot outside that is usually decently full, and street parking around the area.

I had an amazing time at Ichifuji! The staff were friendly and nice the ambiance was great. The employees took their time to explain the menu before hand and after ordering ( we ordered the 11- course ) each item that was brought out was explained as well. The food was delicious too! My favorite was the beef tongue katsu that we ordered a la carte but, everything that was a part of the 11-course was great. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to try a new dining experience or a special occasion that they want more low-key.

Awesome dinner as always! Food and service was top notch! Very sad to learn that this restaurant theme will end at the end of this year to make way for a new concept. It was a bittersweet moment for us as we enjoy this place so much! Although we will miss Ichifuji, we look forward to the new seafood/sushi Izakaya in 2024!

The food and customer service were amazingly excellent! I recommend the wagyu beef tongue, chawan-mushi and barley rice porridge. They were absolutely tasty and impressive!! And I don’t recommend the ramen.

It is an excellent place for anyone serious about their food! There are three set menus that you can choose from or order on your own. We ordered two 11-course meals and one tasting menu. This was perfect for three people. There were 2-3 items that the tasting menu didn't have, but we all shared. I believe this restaurant is operated by appointment only, so it was very calm during our visit. It was only our table and another one behind us. Also coming around 5:30 allowed us to enjoy the sunset from their window! The broth is very clear and healthy! Their nabe dashi is made by simmering for 6 hours, and it's not your regular hotpot filled with msg. I love that for every dish, they have recommended signature salt pairing. Another thing I love is that they waste 0 ingredients. At the end of the meal, they use the nabe and put rice in it to cook it into porridge. Although we were super full already... we ate it because it was that good. The prices aren't cheap here, but it is worth it. We will be back next time!

Very filling course menu (we had 2 11 course and 1 tasting course.) the wagyu is amazing and so is the fish! They also provide special house made salts and sauces. Overall very nice experience, especially with the option to take home rice porridge and end with ube ice

My husband was really happy for us to bring his brother here when he was in town. It is not often that a Japanese restaurant leaves an impression on him, as much as that breaks my heart, but gems like Ichifuji stand out to him. Ichifuji strives to create an authentic environment. The women were dressed in kimonos - which is no easy feat! The plating and decor looked like they were brought over from Japan. It was a very quiet restaurant, I felt weird talking above a whisper in there. I loved the broth that the meat was dipped in. The flavored salts were a nice touch. The ingredients were high quality. Ichifuji is a nice place to go for special moments. We look forward to bringing my mom there and seeing what she thinks! :)

Went here for my husband's birthday dinner and was very happy we did! The food was amazing! Each bite was delicious! Their oxtail broth was rich and light at the same time! We did the 11 course tasting menu and so glad we did! My favorite was the chawan mushi.. never had it before but it was served nice and warm! I wish i had more! And the hamachi, just melted in our mouths when we ate it! Like butter ! SO ONO!! service was great too! we had a very attentive staff member checking in on us! then again we were one of two couples in there at the time, but still she was so nice and accommodating! they even sang happy birthday to my husband at the end which i didn't expect ! thank you ichifuji for a wonderful birthday celebration dinner!

I think it's over priced at all. I got a 11 courses, and the meat is really less. Although the dish are well design, but you won't get enough meat during the meal but lots of rice or noodles.

We had to change our reservation time twice due to our conference schedule, Ichifuji was very accommodating. I left voice message and they called me back. Great food and excellent service.
