This review is primarily for Kacey or Kacie! My family came in on a busy Tuesday summer morning because all other places were fully booked. We were a family of 12 (8 adults and 4 kids) and they were understaffed. Kacey did such a great job managing everything, and our family was not the easiest but she did the best she could. I really appreciated her service! Thank you, Kacey!

**Disappointing Experience at IHOP Honolulu – Overpriced and Lacking Local Flair** ⭐⭐ (2/5 stars)
As a visitor from the mainland, I was excited to try IHOP in Honolulu, but it fell short in several ways. First off, the prices were shocking – nearly quadruple what I'd pay back in the states for similar items. For that kind of markup, I expected something special, but it felt like overpaying for basic American fare. I tried to order crepes and they were out. 😒
My chocolate pancakes were a major miss: one had just a single chocolate chip, while the bottom one had a clump all in the middle. It seemed rushed and sloppy, not the quality I'd hope for. The eggs and sausage links were decent, but nothing standout.
What really bummed me out was the lack of a local menu – no spam, rice, or Hawaiian twists to make it feel unique to the islands. I'd much rather support spots with authentic local options instead of this plain Jane meal. Overall, not worth the price or the visit if you're looking for value or variety.

Worst IHOP experience ever! We were just there today and service was slow, and when food came it was cold. We thought because we were in Hawaii, this would be special. Wrong! If I could give 0 rating I would!

Took over 45 minutes for my wife and I to receive our food after we ordered it. We basically went through three cups of coffee and two glasses of water each. The food came out potatoes were cold the ham was cold the toast was cold the age were warm. Very small portions or service food not served warm. Do not go here there are two main nice restaurants within walking distance I'll give you a better meal for the same place if not cheaper. Their whole meal portions are very small. And for $20 or two eggs a small piece of ham that's been cut in half and hash browns that's smaller than a deck of cards about half the size definitely not worth it. The restaurant was not even a third full. I can't understand why it took 45 minutes to receive this breakfast. Especially getting a cold. And when I paid for it the waitress short changed the change back to me by $7 which would have been the tip that was posted on the receipt. Then she says a mistake that she added wrong it was a $51 bill for breakfast and she gave $42 back. The math wasn't even close

Our breakfast was great and we really appreciate the Aloha spirit from all the staff. Our service from Michael was excellent even though they were very busy. Mahalo nui to Sam and all the staff! Good job keeping Aloha alive and well!

First time visiting Hawaii and had breakfast here with my family! Service was great! The Manager Jewn came over and made sure we had everything we needed and even told us what cool places were around to hang out at. Great Guy!

We sat waiting for service for half an hour and no one served us, we ended up leaving without being served. Terrible service
Sam and his team provided excellent service. It should be noted that he was dealing with short staffing and a lost bathroom key, and he handled everything with such patience and grace. 10/10 experience!

No waffles, waffle iron down. No avocado. Out of original syrup so scrounging for the few containers left on tables. 30 minutes to get drinks. 45 minutes to get 2 of 4 orders. Chicken sandwich cooked in the fires of MT. Doom. Sauron himself would reject it. Ending this review at 55 minutes from order time. Still have not received 2 of 4 items.

Service was great. Jewn is amazing worker with great customer service skills. Went over and beyond to make sure our Ihop experience in Hawaii was good. This is my 1st time in Hawaii, here for my Honeymoon. Coming from St.louis it is good to get great customer service and Jewn displayed that to the upmost. He would be a great manager.Very polite guy.
