After reading previous reviews, I was thinking it couldn't be as expensive as people said. I don't frequent IHOP regularly, so I decided to take a chance. It was pricey. I got a cold brew and an omelet with blueberry pancakes, and my total was around $38.00, with tip.

Service was fine, food was fine, it was our first morning in Honolulu, so we chose it because it's familiar.

It wasn't bad, just overpriced. There was another place we ended up going to the rest of the week closer to our hotel, after that.

Wouldn't go to ihop again 😬 we were hoping it would be a quick experience while we waited for the place we were heading to to open but it took forever between waiting for a table even though it didn't look busy and then waiting for the food and the food was still cold and dry. Some food was forgotten. The server forgot one of our drinks as well even after being reminded and then still tried to charge us for it. The coffee tasted like an ash tray but we are Australian so maybe our coffee standards are too high. The good parts are that I liked being near the front window to watch honolulu go by. They also seem to be an equal choice employer which I really appreciate. The menu is extensive and it's cool that you can order whatever even at breakfast time but maybe that's contributing to the slow service.

Parking: I think the parking was free from memory but we had to walk about 5 mins. There seems to be no parking nearby but it probably makes sense for being near hotels.

Little pricey for a simple breakfast. Shortstack and a slice of bacon cut in half to call it two pieces $25.

Just landed in Hawaii and decided to try IHOP. The portions are huge, as expected, but everything was sweeter than I anticipated. The fried chicken tender waffles were great, with the chicken being a highlight. The bacon omelette was fluffy and the bacon crispy. The hash browns were crispy but fell apart on the plate. Our waitress was fantastic and very accommodating. However, the meal was pricey, especially after converting from USD to AUD. Overall, good experience, but be prepared for oversized portions and a high price range for a basic breakfast.

Overall, the experience was disappointing due to the high prices, small portions, and slow service. A breakfast spot should prioritize efficiency, but this visit fell short in both speed and value. Would not recommend if you’re looking for a quick and satisfying meal.

My husband sent his food back as the steak was tough and overcooked.

My pancake was undercooked.

The staff were great and did everything they could to make it right

I visited for a late breakfast.
I went to IHOP, which I had been interested in for a while.

As soon as we arrived, coffee and drinks for the kids were ordered.

I ordered two biscuit batter burger combos, pancakes, and a children's set.

There are plenty of coffee mugs and refill pots, and the food is surprisingly large, making you feel like you've actually come to America.

However, everything, including the pancakes, had a salty taste, and at first I thought they were delicious, but as I continued to eat them, I became concerned about the salt content and didn't find them very tasty. I couldn't finish the pancakes and took them home, but there was no syrup so I didn't feel like eating them again.

It was a junky meal, but the bill for a family of four was over 16,000 yen.
The staff at the store were kind and I was happy to be able to go to an American-style store that I was interested in, but now that the yen is weak, I want to go again! This is a store you won't believe.

The customer service in the place is absolutely shocking - over a 45 min wait standing out the front after been told 10 mins wait .. inside store empty chairs and tables not until I said something about more people waiting outside then there we're sitting in side they then moved us onto a table .. for being a customer the staff working here or the girl at front I wouldnt recommend her talking to customers very very rude - will not be visiting again

Short staffed. Waited forever to be seated, or even acknowledged for that matter. Very few people eating. Decided to leave and go elsewhere.

Ordered food to go here 2 weeks ago. As I was ordering take out I didn't leave a tip. The server who ordered my food gave herself a $100 tip! Rang up and was refunded but nothing else offered for the theft. Avoid.

The American atmosphere was nice, but the pancakes had no taste, the bacon was like rubber, the all-you-can-drink coffee came without permission, and the person who served it was about 5,000 yen (2024) including tip, which made me feel bad. I thought it would be a light breakfast, but instead I ended up eating three pancakes, poor-quality butter, and greasy bacon, and couldn't eat anything until dinner.

In a different sense, I was once again reminded that Japanese food and service are wonderful.

Fixed and can almost fly

honestly, as someone from a military background. I'm usually not picky about food. but this place by far has the worst service, food, hygene and coffee.
took them 20 minutes just to bring us coffee, "the quality of which was consistent with Luke warm dirt and dish washer soap", then having the server come to get us to change our order multiple times because they were out of food items makes me wonder how they justify the expensive prices on their menu.

I should also mention because this place shares it's washroom with a hotel lobby, they have a room card taped to a spatula which I have coined the "poop stick", the servers handle said poop stick then also handle your food and keep it at the cashier counter that they all touch. if you get food poisoning 4 hours after eating here, this is probably why.

would not recommend.
