On vacation on Waikiki and walking along Lewers Street, Il Gelato was packed with customers. Many walked out with an assortment of gelato in cups, waffle cones or bowls, pastries and more. I have visited the Haleiwa location multiple times and it just hits the spot for unique gelato flavors! I also highly recommend any of the crepes ... and of course, the Ube Mochi waffle!!!
Staff friendly and attentive and the place is kept very clean. Definitely worth a stop if you need to pick up a pint of gelato for a family dinner too. ;)

This place can get busy. When I saw that there was no line, I decided to pop in and try this gelato. The staff graciously let me try many flavors. In the end I decided on chocolate and coffee with a fresh waffle chip. SO GOOD- creamy and bursting with flavor.
