IL Gelato Hawaii Waikiki Lewers Street

I have visited the Haleiwa location multiple times and it just hits the spot for unique gelato flavors! I also highly recommend any of the crepes ... and of course, the Ube Mochi waffle!!! Staff friendly and attentive and the place is kept very clean. Definitely worth a stop if you need to pick up a pint of gelato for a family dinner too. ;)

The info says that they close at 10pm, I called at 6pm, they where closed.

Stopped by last night and got Strawberry Cheesecake flavor. It was so good tonight I got chocolate banana flavor. Haven't decided the flavor for tomorrow night but plan on going every night. Thank you Leilani for excellent service and great conversation.

For a gelato shop, this was such a fun experience.. I love that they didn't rush us and actually enjoyed telling us about the different flavors. So nice and refreshing to see great service again.

Got coffee from this location a few times during my visit. One of the better coffees during my stay. Didnt get a chance to try out the gelato or other food options, but they definitely look delicious.

The service from Leilani at the Lewers location was exceptional she is friendly, professional, and helpful.

Gelato here was good! More like ice cream than gelato in my opinion but the flavors were good. Lots of options. I had the ube cookies and cream, banana, and mac nut. All were tasty but the ube definitely stood out. A little pricey but fits in well with where it’s located.

The girl who works there with glasses had a lot of attitude and very rude to international customers. Acted very condescending and bothered by everything.

9/2924 7:39pm order#203. Receipt says server lewers c but actually heaven was actually our server. I ordered 2 milkshakes no issue but heaven our waitress had us pay before getting our order which was different experience then when I bought a gelato 2 days prior. They usually give you gelato then pay. So for the next 10 minutes me and my girlfriend sat outside and watched if she does this to every customer( she didn't). Next customer white family( man, women
n kid), gave them gelato then they paid. Next customer 2 Asian women , gave them gelato then they paid. Next customer 3 black customers walked in ( 2 women and 1 man) . They had the black man pay before he got his order. I left after seeing that. Check the cameras. Stop being racist or hiring racist people it's a reflection of ownership .
