Music could probably be a few notches lower

Ward location is amazing across from Whole Foods. Good coffee & place to hangout for a long time whether inside or out. Inside was full and very quiet with people on laptops & no music playing. I guess if you want to talk you should go outside to the big comfy sofas or side tables. I like the care-free vibes and the coffee is good enough 👍🏼

Not going to lie. I really like studying/working here. Been here almost every Sunday morning for the past month. Though it is bougie. Lots of couples and their dogs sit outside while all the people studying / working sit inside. Lol
Everything is a bit pricey, but in comparison to other coffee shops in the area, it's competitive in pricing.
The single origin pour over is alright, don't care for the kau roast. The island brew coffee is not bad.
For food, I had the BLTA, and the breakfast bagel. Both are okay, will try the other dishes next time I go there. Though most dishes are like $15 to $20...so crazy.
Service is good. If you order a drink, they will call your name. If you order food too, they will bring the food to you. Just need to hold a small flower pot.
Wifi is free, the island brew guest one is for all to use. They also play some background music, right now is all Christmas music.
Also note, weekends can get very crowded. If you want a seat, try to get there before 8:30 am-ish. After 9:00 am it gets difficult.
Last thing to mention. It's the same coffee shop as the one in Ala Moana Center and Hawaii Kai.

Would not recommend this place as a matcha lover . I ordered matcha tea latte with soy milk . I felt like I was just drinking plain soy milk like I couldn’t taste the flavor of matcha at all .

I liked the atmosphere there tho . So calming 😌

Unfortunately, my experience at this coffee shop was disappointing at this branch (Ala moana branch experience was excellent). The waitress was unprofessional and the communication was poor. I ordered a coffee, but it was missed, and I ended up waiting much longer than expected. When my drink was finally ready, they didn’t call my name, and I ended up with a coffee that was almost lost its hot great taste by the time i came to grab it. This lack of attention to detail and poor service really affected my visit, and I hope improvements are made in the future.

I’ve been a regular customer for over a year, and this spot has some great aspects. It’s a good place to get work done, with a generally friendly staff who are always welcoming. The atmosphere can be nice, though sometimes the volume is way too loud with the music, just depends on who’s working that day, as the baristas control it.

That being said, there have been a few issues that led me to stop coming regularly. The price of a large latte with an extra shot has now reached $9, which feels too steep for the value you get. Additionally, the quality of the coffee can be inconsistent, and the food doesn’t quite match up. Another concern is that the bathrooms are often dirty and don’t seem to be cleaned regularly.

There’s also been noticeable staff turnover, which makes the place feel understaffed at times, though the employees themselves are very friendly. I’ve noticed that their original location in Hawaii Kai offers much better coffee and food, and the differences between the two locations are clear.

Everything I’ve ever wanted from a coffee shop. A+ Caramel Macchiato, indoor seating is good, outdoor seating is amazing. I have mobility disabilities and need seats with backs, there was an astounding amount of options. Highly highly recommend!!

Wheelchair accessibility: For wheelchair/walker users the area from door to cash register would be a squeeze, and the space between tables inside is minimal, potentially impossible depending on the width of chair/walker. Outdoor tables would be good to wheel up to and visit with someone but an independent visit likely would be uncomfortable. Cane users likely won’t experience the same discomfort from the spacing and could independently visit without complication.

If sugary milk labled as coffee is you thing this is your place... every "coffee" I've ever tried here has been disgustingly sweet even when asked for light sweet or the one shot of espresso the give you in your $8 coffee taste burnt.. Save your money & go to whole foods coffee bar. DOLLARS cheaper & you actually can taste your coffee.
