Ordered pork hash, half moon and azuki (black bean) manapuas. The manapua bun was hard: not soft. The worker went in back to get it - don't think it was in the steamer.
The half moon had alot of elephant mushroom which I liked. It can be a bit strong flavor if you are not use to it. The pork hash skin was a bit on the dry side. It was sitting on a tray on top the display case; not in the steamer.

I wanted a snack and passed by the place and decided to try the manapua here. Hubby and I got the baked hot dog manapua. It would have been good if it was hot. I thought it was warm but it was cold. Service was good. There are no place to sit inside but they do have tables outside,

Not your Libbies, hash was hard. Manapua was hard on bottom. Miss the good old days when you could get grindz that hut home. Still better than Foodland.

The only place on the island that you can find the layered rice cake and these duck bao buns.....yummmm and let's not forget the customer service she was great handing me things left and right to try all kinds of samples. They also have platter plates so don't miss out and come and get yours in kaliki today. Much Mahalo Island Manapua 🤙🏽

Today I was craving for some local favorites and I was just happen to be in Kalihi area and remembered that the Island Manapua Factory was nearby, so I went to where my temptation was guiding me to. Yes, I got here and bought rice cake, pork hash, half moon, steamed char siu manapua, and peking duck bun with the workers recommendation. And they were all great, my craving was satisfied. Their friendly service was nice also. This place is highly recommended for everyone when you have that craving for the local goodies.

Pork hash, half moon was good. But the steam manapua tasted stale, filling was on the spoil side. Bake manapua and Steam need a little plum sauce and no crunchy ingredients. Spend $168. Took to Kauai.
