Tried giving this place another chance to redeem themselves, this time I ordered the blackened Ribeye and tasted like Chuck Steak hardrubbery/nasty. The good news is there closing down. I'm thinking they are trying to get rid of all there cheap meats. Don't waste your money like I did today 7/29/2023

Still remains one of our favorite places to launch our time in Oahu, and today was no different. The service was wonderful as usual and our food arrived quickly too. The kalbi ribs were terrific with a flavorful marinade and grilled just right. The mac salad was creamy goodness and the mixed rice soaked up the juices too. We also enjoyed the mochiko chicken which was tender and well seasoned, with a good crispy exterior. Look forward to coming back again before heading back home!

This is my go-to meal right after landing at HNL airport! The owners are so kind and remember us every time we come with welcome arms. These kalbi ribs are impossible to beat - juicy, fatty, with a nice sweetness. The mochiko chicken was surprisingly tender with a crispy skin! I love their version of Mac salad and the food comes out so fast. Also bonus is the AC, breakfast all day, and refrigerated Hawaiian sun drinks! Looking forward to coming back!

I'm getting my hair done next door and wanted to get lunch. I came here because Ray's cafe is closed. I decided to get garlic pork chop. Lady in the cashier is very friendly. My food came out fast and portion is pretty descent. Pork chop is so flavorful you can taste the lemongrass. Its my new favorite spot now in Kalihi.

The food gives "hole in the wall" an up lift. It's an experience. I chose the scrimp, we took it on a picnic.Parking: In back.

This place is a down to earth authentic Hawaiian eats restaurant. We got the Kalbi Beef Ribs, they were so tender, juicy, and sauced/flavored well. We also got the spam masubie which was sauced well and the spam was grilled perfect with a little crunch. Not pictures was the Chicken Katsu plate. That was also delicious the chicken was juicy and tender. The lady taking our order was so sweet and nice. The food came out very quick. Would definitely recommend!

Very good food from a Mom and Pop restaurant. Huge menu to choose from and DINE IN is available. Pricing is very reasonable.

Aunty and Unko are so sweet and kind, and stopped to talk story while providing service. Found this place on accident when Ray's Cafe was closed. I got the garlic chicken and wife got the garlic pork chops. We also ordered French Toast on the side. All very good. Highlight was the French Toast. No need fork and knife, just dip it in the syrup cup. Maybe the portions could have been a little bigger but I love the old mom & pops feel of this place, even the dining area was nice and homely. I scored street parking at the meter right out front. There are pics for the menu which also makes things easier. Will be back for sure.

I was starving and didn't want to cook so I ventured out and stumbled upon this awesome mom and pop hole in the wall. Aunty and Uncle were so sweet and gracious. They offer classic plate lunch fare as well as daily specials. I decided to try the shoyu chicken and boneless fried chicken. Their plates come with hapa rice (a mix of brown and white) as well as your choice of Mac or tossed salad. The fried chicken was a delectable surprise. Crispy and juicy and fried to perfection. The shoyu chicken was tender and flavored with more Chinese five spice then I'd like but yummy. I can't wait to try more of their menu.

I don't go here often but when I do I'm never disappointed. I always enjoy their food and today I definitely enjoyed thier Oxtail Stew.

Delicious food. Highly recommend blackened ahi!

The food was okay but great customer service. We ordered the Korean Plate and Loco Moco. The Korean Plate was okay but the Loco Moco burger meat wasn't good.
