Several vegan options and a dedicated plant based menu section. We shared the vegan B.A.L.T sandwich for breakfast and it was 🔥🔥. Coffee is delicious, chocolate notes on their roast, low acidity. Will come back again during our stay.

I loved Island Vintage Coffee even though it’s one of the busy cafes in Waikiki. I dropped off this cafe when I travelled in Waikiki.
There are a lot of different types of drinks. I enjoyed the açai smoothie, and my favourite is the Island latte. It made with macadamia nut. It was impressing for me! I felt ‘Hawaiian vibe’ nicely! Special drink!

I recommend everyone who wants to visit here to come as early as 7 am. If so, it’s not too long line up. You’re be able to see the menu when you’re on the line.

The food here is not good at all. They have a great presentation, but aside from that nothing to remember. The Açaí taste bland and the drinks are too sweet. This is practically a tourist trap. There are better alternatives without long lines.

After all, acai balls are consistently delicious.
If I had more time, I would have tried other menu items.

Asahi Bowl is delicious. Orders are sometimes missed, so I had to wait a long time. The pick-up process is a bit hectic, so I think it needs to be improved.

Tasty lattes and acai bowls... But service was extremely inefficient and chaotic. Took me 30+ minutes to get 3 drinks after the order was placed at the register. So be ready to wait!

I can understand busy, but this was the single most disorganized coffee shop I have ever been to.

I ordered 1 iced island latte, 2 lava mochas, 1 hot Kona coffee, 1 avocado toast, and 1 peanut butter mango sandwich to bring back to my hotel for my family.

Order placed at 8:15. 1 lava mocha came out at 8:20. The hot coffee came out soon after at 8:25. The island latte and food came out around the same time at 8:50. We waited another half hour for the second lava latte, which came out at 9:20.

It seemed like they decided the order to make drinks based on a lottery system. There were some people waiting longer than I did, and some people whose drinks came out instantly. Asking on the status of the order was met with shrugs and “it’s coming”. Waiting an hour for the exact same drink is insane.

As for quality, the coffee tasted very good, although the first lava latte and the “hot” coffee were both room temperature by the time the second lava latte came out. The mango peanut butter sandwich was okay, but the avocado toast was gross. The avocado was more gray than green and the cranberry bread didn’t really pair well with the rest of the spread. I ended up throwing most of it away.

The birds are very aggressive and attacked my food as soon as I got there. I had asked the server to get me salt but they said I had to go inside. I left my son at the table when I went to go inside to get salt. They should give you salt and pepper when you get food to stay because the birds are so aggressive or they should swat the birds away. Unfortunately couldn’t eat any of it. Waste of $50

The Portuguese breakfast platter was great and devoured before I was able to take a photo. But the mango and peanut butter sandwich was delish. And don’t skip out on the papaya and yogurt. Actually any of their island fruits were amazing.

Tip… get there early before the crowds!

Long line just if you only want to get coffee which isn’t that cracked up to be. There are other alternatives if you want Kona-based coffee.

8oz $6…cappuccino with Volcano Espresso Bend.
Coffee was kinda on a bitter side and not very smooth.

The place was crowded. Staff was smiling and pleasant but the waiting time was atrocious. The B.A.LT sandwich and lilikoi lemonade were simply delicious and the portion just the perfect size. A bit pricey but acceptable because of the quality.

Whole separate vegan menu which is amazing. Location at ala Moana is pricey (unsure if theyre all like this) but was worth it for an easy vegan order and options. Really tasty
