I almost never gave a review , even when I am a little disappointed. But this time was the worst restaurant experience in my life. I never thought someone will do such thing to us.We had our lunch today in the restaurant that is supposed to be an expensive good one. I’ll keep it simple: they told us wrong information about the food we ordered. We didn’t eat it , they admitted it is not ok and apologized but still charges us a lot of money for it.Examples - We asked about the cauliflower shawarma if it is oily or fried, they said don’t worry it is baked but when it was served it was heavily oily, similarly with the Turkish coffee, we asked if it has sugar and they clearly said no, but it was served with sugar. We ended up not eating that food or drinking that coffee but we still paid a lot of money for it.All they had to say when we complained is - we acknowledge it is not ok. We will train our people better. When something like this happens, the minimum they can do is not charging you. What if some similar mistake happens with someone that has allergy to some food? You apology will definitely not help them much.So disappointing.

Angela is our "go-to" server behind the bar. She does an outstanding job of taking care of us. She is pleasant, professional, and always on her "A-game." Great food and great fun! Jesse

I believe this restaurant is best for two things... their renown drinks and deserts. I found their dinner menu to be significantly underwhelming and flavorless.l which came as a shock as their drinks spoke volumes. Would only come again for drinks and desert...

Service was excellent. For $300, the food was exceedingly bad; not just poorly prepared. We ordered a bit of everything... Beef, fish, chicken, and shrimp dishes. Everything except the beef was beyond overcooked; the chicken shishkabobs were so dry that we had to use water to choke down the insanely dry chunks of meat. The "garlic" shrimp looked large and appealing until the server gave my wife plastic gloves so my wife could go a-peel-ing the shrimp that had ZERO garlic flavor and was way overcooked. I was most disappointed in my exceedingly dry "fish mosaic." When our server mentioned the fish was "snapper" I snapped it up. But, like the white shrimp and juiceless chicken, the fish mosaic was as dry as the proverbial bone. Obviously, this is a place for people with eclectic taste. As an avid traveler, I have traveled internationally, and I love different types of foods. The ambiance and service of this place is great. However, in my conversations with others, I have learned that the food has certainly gone downhill over the past year or so. There's absolutely no reason for the food to be as overcooked and dry as it was last night. I get it... when one goes to a Turkish restaurant, one should probably stick with the beef and lamb dishes. Having said that, I would not recommend this place to someone with a group of people who have diverse tastes. On a final note, I will say that the appetizer tray was outstanding. The different types of hummus were exquisite. The platter turned out to be the best plate of the evening, including the desserts.

When you say it can't get any better, it just proves you wrong. A new design for the outside decor which was pure Turkish creativity. New plate setup. Instead of many small plates you get a large plate that made everything so much easier to enjoy the many dishes. And it looked great. Great Chateau Musar from Lebanon which is so unique on an island not really known for great wine lists. The service was five stars. Our choices were: ARTISANAL BABAGANUSH LAMB TENDERLOIN SHISH BABA'S KOFTE: ****** unbelievable

We were really looking forward to trying Istanbul. We visited on a Wednesday night, 5:30pm and finally wrapped up at 8:30pm'ish. 3+ hours for four people. To our disappointment; the food was 'ok',drinks took 30+ minutes to arrive after ordering, and our meal arrived after 1 hour 45 minutes. Once we finished our main, too another 20 minutes for our server to 'check' on us. We ordered desert, finished with another 30 minute wait for our check before leaving. Unfortunately, this was not the experience we were expecting for a $400 meal.

The most outstanding thing to note was their customer service. So attentive and kind. The restaurant wasn't quite open yet as we were early for our reservations yet someone was courteous enough to acknowledge our presence and inform us that they would be seating us soon. We witnessed an employee group meeting before the restaurant opened and it's very clear they are committed to providing the best customer service and experience. They didn't understaffed either which is hard to find these days in an establishment. Thank you for such a great experience and paying attention to the small details. Will definitely be back. Mahalo!!
