This is mainly a drinking and drink/snack place. The Yaki ramen, pictured, is not on the menu. It was a bit greasy and salty. It would go great with rice! The Chicken Namban had great sauce, pleasantly crunchy, but the chicken was not seasoned. The sweet potatoes were great!
It’s an ok place to go and the preparation of their foods is interesting and creative. Because of language barrier, it made it challenging to order and communicate other things to have a good experience.
The staff is very attentive and the food very reasonably priced. You definitely feel like you are in a Japanese tavern and it reminds me of when I went to Tokyo last year. I highly recommend this place and I'll be back next time I'm in Honolulu!
