A little gem at the farmers market! We saw posts online about this mochi before our trip, and made special plans to visit the market just for it.
It was worth it! We got four different flavors so we could try a range, and all of them were delicious. They're also just so beautiful!

Perhaps because of the fantastic reviews I expected too much. Felt like I went to a 5-star (priced) restaurant and got 4-star food.
Their display was nice - colourful and clean - but I don't eat displays.
It didn't help that the service was not great. They were too busy chatting with - who seemed like their acquaintance - to give me a smile or an eye contact. Made me do the math in my head to make sure they are not overcharging me - which came out to over $30 for a small bag of mochi.
Oh well I guess I'm not eating eye contact either.
To be fair the mochi was not bad. Their matcha pack was tasty.
Anyway, not going out of my way to buy from them again - only if they are in my way.
Amazing. In the bigger section of the market. Takes credit cards.
One of my favorite vendors at the Kakaako Farmers Market. If you like mochi and other Japanese sweets definitely consider checking them out as they normally sell out of mochi before the end of the market. As they offer a variety of flavors, consider following their Instagram so you know their offerings and can plan out what you’re going to order.
