We were craving motsunabe and had never tried the Motsu Spicy Chige Nabe before. It was absolutely delicious! We were very happy ? It wasn't very spicy but they didn't skimp on the motsu! ? The motsu teppan is always a must for me! So good with hot rice or as an appetizer with sake ? Servers are very sweet.

Such a cute little restaurant located in Kaimuki. Service was great and waiters were so kind and helpful and explaining the menu. Sushi, appetizers, and drinks were on one menu and you could choose which skewers and the amount you wanted on a paper. Food came out quick and everything was yummy! Great izakaya spot!

Small tucked away authentic Japanese restaurant with a gorgeous open air decor. Don't miss out on the yakitori as it is quality and very reasonably priced!

BRAHHHHH THIS PLACE IS MEAN!!!!! I been to all the omakase spots, been to Japan... Thought nothing could WOW me anymore. Everything was great, and most of the dishes were something new I hadn't tried before. My favorite was the abalone in fish liver sauce. The abalone was so soft... Then he gives you a ball of rice to soak up the liver sauce. Holy shnikeys, tasted like ice cream! Check um out buggah is ONO!

Didn't have a reservation but with 5 min wait was able to get seated at the counter. Love the authentic Japanese vibe, great izakaya offerings and being able to watch him grill our yakitori right in front of us. The soft shell crab was delicious and cooked perfectly. Loved the yaki oni giri selections and of course the sushi combo.

Best Omakase we've had in a very long time even better than other sushi bars charging a lot more than this one, if you are a Sushi fan definitely try this restaurant.

I had Sushi, yakitori, and some side dishes a week ago. I go to high end sushi restaurants and I can tell the Sushi was very good. It's expensive but it's worth it. The Yakitori was disappointing as it almost felt like they steamed it first and just grilled it on the charcoal briefly. The main issue was the bathroom. There were several cockroaches on the floor while I was using the toilet, literally under my feet. I understand it's not directly related to the food but this is not a cheap restaurant and I just wanted to run away from this building. Service was great so I gave two stars rather than one.

$58 sushi menu was exceptional quality. Very good yakitori too. Great service and nice laid-back, Izakaya atmosphere.

Love this place. They have great sushi, yakitori and appetizers. It's our go to place when friends are in town and when I have a craving for Japanese food!

A friend was visiting and wanted fresh and authentic sushi. It was an odd time and most places were closed, except the spot. Though I've been to the shopping area, multiple times, never to this restaurant it is a little hidden, but super cute. Bottom line, service was friendly,, the fish was fresh and prepared dwell. It was a little on the pricey side, but acceptable given the quality.
