The food was great. I had the lunch special where you choose from 3 ramen and either two pieces of spicy tuna crispy rice sushi for $17 or $23 or a platter with an assortment of things. The customer service was amazing, but the food was OK. I definitely go there again!

We had an amazing experience at JINYA Ramen in Honolulu! The atmosphere was lively, the service was quick and friendly, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We tried both the ramen and sushi — the ramen broth was rich and flavorful, and the sushi was fresh and beautifully presented.

We enjoyed it so much that we actually came back again before leaving Honolulu, and it was just as fantastic the second time! Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving great Japanese food in a relaxed, modern setting.

JINYA IS EVERYTHINGGGG. The ambiance is 10/10. Went on a Friday night with my girlies, no reservations, got sat right away. Restaurant is huge, food was amazing, plenty of sake selections and our serve Jin was the best of the best. We can't stop talking about Jinya! Can't wait to come back!!!

Brilliant ramen. White tonkotsu was delicious as were gyoza and crispy chicken. Also bed ramen egg I've ever had. Great food and pretty affordable

Service was good but the drinks were overpriced and the food was nothing special. They don’t give you filtered water and most of the chairs had food stains on them. My curry chicken rice bowl barely had any meat. Overall can’t say I’ll be coming back.

My mom and I came in around 3pm when it wasn’t busy at all. The decor and place of the restaurant is amazing. However, the down atmosphere contrasts it. Our server took our order without reading it back, resulting in just one ramen coming out along with our appetizers. I was confused and the server came and confirmed they only placed one order for the ramen we wanted, especially because there was two of us... This mistake shouldn’t be made at all considered it wasn’t busy and that restating what a party orders is common business. I value my time and this left a lingering bitterness in my mouth throughout the meal, swallowing my now cold appetizers after receiving the second ramen. As it was given there was no crispy rice appetizer that came along with the ramen combo, having us to notify our server again. The food is ok (might have been better if it was warm), but the experience was severely displeasing to the point I could not enjoy my meal.

I am so sad to learn that JINYA uses MSG in all of their ramen - including the vegan one. This was my favorite vegan ramen spot on the entire island -- delicious food, great location and vibes. I just realized after a while that I was getting bad headaches on the nights when I ate there (MSG - whoops!).

If it doesn't bother you, I highly recommend this spot. Selfishly, I'll beg -- PLEASE make an MSG-free option for the vegan ramen! I would love to keep spending way too much of my paycheck here. 😉

Nice fancy ramen restaurant. Sides and appetizers are great, poke is ridiculously small for the price, ramen is nice. Beautiful location, and atmosphere, however you can have better ramen in cheaper less fancy ramen places.

We went to Jinya for appetizers before we went to the movies across the street. Our waiter Logan was very attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food came fast, was delicious and we made our movie with time to spare. Great experience.
