WOW!!!! In my opinion not overrated at all and so worth the wait. I opt for light sauce and it’s saucy, crispy and full of flavor. The staff are hard working and super friendly despite the demand.
The owners are hardworking and seem like good people. With that aside, I was a bit disappointed in the burger. I felt like all the ingredients were great and even smelled amazing but the taste just wasn't there for me. It lacked flavor and the truffle sauce kind of overpowered the flavor of the rest of the burger. I tried to take a bite of the side that is not covered in the sauce but it still tasted a bit bland. Can definitely see the quality but I feel like the burgers...
I’ve been watching JOJA on IG and had to give them a try during my visit to Oahu. DELICIOUS!! The smash burger was juicy and packed with flavor. I am glad I lined up 20 mins before they opened at Kakaako Farmer’s Market. We waited no more 35 mins for our order. We appreciate Unk on the grill and the JOJA fam! It was so good, we plan on going again one more time before we leave when they are in Ewa Beach. JOJA is a must every time we are on the island! Mahalo!
