Awesome Alie

Hubby and I bought 2 Vietnamese coffee!! Very strong coffee if you need to do Polynesian cultural center whole day activity! We also got tuna rice ball (good for a day if you want a snack) and a breakfast meal (sausage, bacon and egg with rice). Totaling to under $6. Wow!! And the 2 Vietnamese coffee it's under $10. In California that would be $16 for 2!! The place is where locals go. Your not there for the ambiance. Your there for a cheap and quick food and snacks. Affordable and locally loved!!

we were walking in downtown Honolulu and wanted coffee. This was the first place we came across. I can't say that the coffee (latte) was the best I've ever had. It had a bit of a bitter (or possibly burnt) taste. It wasn't bad and was certainly drinkable. It just wasn't amazing. Service was fine and it had nice seating outside.

It's a small coffee & smoothie place. I had mango smoothie with lychee pearls. Large is only $3.75 + 0.50(pearls) and small is $3.25. I think my good friend bought me the large one. Smooth and tasty. Lychee pearls went well but I'll be ok without too. Had variety of coffee and espresso drinks too. And they were nice price. $1.50 for coffee and only $3.60 for latte. My friend said their spam musubi is so good so I need to try that one day.

I believe this owner makes THE best Musubi in town. Also coffee & smoothie taste great with reasonable price. The best grab n' go place in downtown!

Super convenient. They make the best $4.00 Double Shot Soy Mocha!! You read it right: $4.00!! Go get your self one! Perfect for college students. The only sad thing is that the owner is unclear about her hours and has no contact number. So if I wanna know if Jojo's is open, I just have to walk down there. Lame. But everything else is fab(:

Looking for that quick coffee fix and some food then stop by here. Quick service, wide selection of breakfast bentos, musubis, and coffee drinks. Plus a basic spam musubi on a giant pad of rice is only $1!!!! Add bacon to that musubi and you still spend less than $2.

Had a mango smoothie, good taste and fair price. Not sure if all flavors come from concentrate. Nice service, only accept Visa and MasterCard. Good stop for coffee pick up too, mac nut forever

Don't blink, you might miss this place. Hopefully you don't, because the coffee is very good here. Service is excellent as well. Hidden gem in the Hussle and bustle of downtown.

Delicious food PLUS cheap price PLUS smiling, friendly owner/operator woman makes this place the best I have found so far in downtown Honolulu BAR NONE. $1/Teri-spam musubi, plate lunches made to order or take-out, VERY REASONABLE PRICES AND GOOD VALUES make this my new GO-TO PLACE for meals, snacks, drinks, coffee, etc. why waste money if by walking up the Fort Street Mall you can get meals for $2-$3 CHEAPER THAN ELSEWHERE, I kid you not! Real FAMILY OPERATION. $1.25 for 8 oz. dark Hawaii roast coffee and ONO! BUSINESS HOURS MON-FRI 7am-5:30 pm. SAT 8am-2:30pm SUNDAY CLOSED TO BE WITH CHILDREN AND FAMILY

Yumm. They were roasting a Maui medium roast. Roaster is set up on wheels and this morning it was on the patio outdoors. How cool is that. Small coffee shop. Not pretentious. Simply coffee and espresso drinks.

Very convenient. They have our coveted spam musubi too :) plus spam and eggs and other things

Hands down best musubi in DT. At only $1 it's as cheap as you get. Wonderfully sauced with crispy Spam. Their breakfast bento at $3 is also bomb. Nice folks running the joint.

I have grown to love and appreciate the connection I have with Jojo Coffee and Expresso - located at the heart of Fort Street Mall. First of all, it's a young couple who own this very simple shop that offers spam/hot dog musubi, muffins and your basic breakfast items of bacon, eggs and rice. Their shop and appearance of it with their kids present (after school) reminds me of my childhood with my parents who operated a business and I would spend my time there after school. I wish to share their ice coffee and smoothies for the price...awesome! Their ice coffee is so good! It is fresh ground coffee, whole milk and sweetness to your liking. The ratio of coffee, ice, sweetness and creaminess is so delicious! I was always disappointed ordering ice coffee elsewhere and it would taste like drinking mud water and the price I paid...darn! Not at Jojo Coffee and Expresso. Their smoothies! I get to order two different fruit combinations for a reasonable price that I am willing to spend and come back to them every time on a hot day! My usual order is the mango and honey dew. Sometimes I add ice cream for an additional reasonable price. If you happen to be at Fort Street Mall where most of the eateries are clustered. Stop by this place and check it out!

I came here to visit and ride in the antique, manually operated elevator. Reading the framed press coverage on the wall, I learned that the building Jojo's is in used to be the Blaisdell Hotel, constructed in 1912 and designed by Emory and Webb (the same architects that designed the ca. 1922 Hawaii Theater building around the corner; see for more about them), where rooms rented for $5.75 in 1968 (Honolulu Magazine, July 2009). Honolulu Magazine says it's the last manually operated elevator in the state, and by "manually operated" they mean someone has to sit in the elevator all day running it between the building's four floors as people come and go. That someone for the last decade or so has been Javier. With a good sense of humor, he is also an avid reader to pass the down time. Look for the Jojo's sign on the HPU/mauka and 'ewa end of Fort Street Mall if you're in the area, not far from 1132 Bishop. Jojo has inexpensive breakfast and coffee (and maybe other things, too). I'd go back for either (haven't tried their breakfast yet) if in the area.

Jojo's is a great place to go if you want to quickly grab coffee and breakfast before work. They have a lot of ready-to-go breakfast bentos that have a combination of bacon, Portuguese sausgage, mini sausages, and spam on top of scrambled eggs and white rice, and the best part is that they're only $3. Their iced coffee is also very good if you like your coffee a little more milky and sweet, although it's actually more of an americano because they grind the coffee beans and brew espresso with their espresso machine. This place is definitely on my list of go-to places downtown.
