Great food, long wait, misleading menu item names. I ordered the hot pastrami and got back to my desk to eat it and there was nothing hot about it. It was never hot...it was just a pastrami sandwich...Pregnant women beware! That being said, it was yummy but I felt misled. Also, if you don't have 20-30 minutes to stand around and wait...you might want to order ahead!

IDC IDC IDC IDC!!! This woman knows how to make some BOMB ASS ONION RINGS! She understood the assignment! INDEED! Since I've been working in town this is my 2nd time eating at JoJo's kitchen. She's been closed for a few months I think idk but everytime I would go to lunch she's never open but now she is and I'm so glad I gave her a try! First time I went I had her fish and fries! Delicious but I wish there was MORE FISH but it's beer battered and I freaking love beer battered cod! Only way to eat fried fish and..fries lol but this was her sandwich the slaw was good as well Today I went to lunch and I tried her beef stew. On my mama she makes her beef stew just like I do. I swear we got the same recipe! It was so warm and comforting I want to sleep after this but her beef stew is ono I was craving onion rings so I gave that a go AND MY GOD!! I was in Heaven. Y'all ever dance when you eat? Cuz you know the food is so dam good so you just sit there and start doing a lil dance? Gooorll she was dancing. I love beer battered onion rings (idk if it's beer battered but this type of batter I love not that Panko mess) but JOJO BAYBEEE!! You know what you doing in that kitchen girl! ILLLL BE BACC! Lmfao Prices are reasonable. Hell if you want GOOD FOOD you gon spend some money. Whether it's cheap or not...her food is pretty dam good so far Ayyyy jojo! What's your ranch recipe cuz sissssss I need it lmfao!!

The fiod is normally great, but today I asked for a wrap with no olives or pepperocini (allergies, but I didn't say). I proceeded to get 1/4 eaten when I took a big bite of pepperocini AND olive. I called and let them know. The guy I spoke to was also the one who took my order, he was very nice and apologetic. The cook, however, made the excuse that it didn't say "allergies" on the ticket, so she ignored the request to omit the olive and pepperocini!! Thanks for the allergic reaction!! Not even an offer to replace or refund the food. SMH

The food is really good, but the restaurant is incapable of managing time. Even when you call ahead and are told when your order will be ready, expect to wait when you get there - sometimes for a looooong time.

I work in downtown and have eaten here several times. The food is good and fresh but not good enough to wait over an hour for 3 wraps, fries and a sandwich...then to be told we should order the day before with such a large order. There are many small businesses in downtown with as good or better food that make the customer feel appreciated.

Delicious food. Absolutely delicious. Downtown has fewer lunch options post-pandemic... this is a spot I learned about on Tuesday and visited on Wednesday because there were so many people there on Tuesday. (A good sign) Arrived at 11:45 AM, ordered three items to go, and took a quick walk down the corridor, which has a few other options new to me. I was with one of my colleagues so she was as excited. Then we walked back to wait and found seating. The menu is great, with sandwiches, wraps, salads, smoothies, fries, and onion rings...truffle options... all wonderful and prices well. Around 12:30, I finally asked, since so many orders came out...and no, we were not skipped, our food was being prepared. Then, about 5 minutes later, a person came out asking people who had ordered chicken, then let us all know they had run out but went to the store, would we be able to wait another 10-15 minutes. Sure. After several orders came out, we were told they ran out of chicken, again, and they would reimburse one of our three items and make the other two. It was a bit too long and odd, but the food was soooo delicious. I had a steak salad, and I will pre-order from now on...

Had lunch with a friend of mine and he suggested we go to JoJo's. He has worked in the downtown area for a while, so I figured he knew the best spots to eat. He was spot on with this suggestion! It's located in a quiet little area downstairs on Merchant street along with a few other smaller lunch restaurants. Limited seating (4 tables of 2) if you're trying to eat there. We shared some Parmesan tater tots and each had half a steak sandwich (you can choose between truffle and pesto). Each of the sandwiches comes with Grilled Sirloin Steak, Caramelized Onion, Mushrooms, Arugula, Parmesan, Garlic Aioli, on grilled Ciabatta. If you haven't already tried them, definitely get the tater tots. They are amazing!

First off, this place was an extremely long wait time. And the food isn't even worth waiting for. I did not have a good experience here. Would never go back. Save yourself the time and just dont come here.

2/3/27 Our office ordered lunch from here and I thoroughly enjoyed my hot Italian sandwich so much that I went the following week to order a another sandwich. The place is clean, friendly, quick and food is delicious. All the things you'd want in a lunch spot. There's a few counter top tables inside and tables outside to enjoy your food. They also offer smoothed and fresh fruit juices.Highly recommend this business.

Been going here for about 2 weeks straight now for lunch, never ceases to disappoint! They always have different specials every week and everything is worth a try! I've never even had falafel before and boy is it something. The wait can be long sometimes but it's definitely worth it. I think depending on what you order it might take more time. If you're in a rush their curry bentos and beef stew is definitely a good option! Their prices are good for the amount you get, especially considering how pricey is everything is now a days. I never am able to finish my meals all the way. And their fries are a must get if u get a sandwich or wrap! Best hole in the wall spot

Chicken Caesar salad and a side of fries came up to over $20 but it was good. Waiting over 30 minutes for just a salad and fries, not good at all. Not a place to go if you have limited funds or or lunch hour when there are a lot of other options around.

I was very Impressed with the service I received, and the food to be honest I didn't think I would like it so much and now it's my go to place for lunch and thank goodness they also do catering, because I'm thinking what better way to introduce my family and friends to the food that JJoJo serves, but through catering for a special event I have coming up. GOOD FOOD IS WHERE THERE IS GOOD PEOPLE!!'nn

The food is excellent, the service is horrible. If you order in person it takes about 45 minutes to get your meal, and they don't answer the phone when you try to call and order ahead. Once they figure out the service side, it will be a go-to.
