My friend, who is very picky about her bbq, lives this place so I decided to try the kalbi.Winnah winnah chicken dinnah! Or rather beef kalbi lunch - the smaller “bowl” version rather than the regular “lunch” size. The “bowl” came with sides of rice, corn and bean sprouts to complement six pieces of the most tender and juicy kalbi I’ve ever had!It was a little pricy at $15.95 but I usually divide my takeout into two meals - not this time, though, couldn’t help but demolish this all at once.The mixed plate and bento choices look like great deals, though, and I’ll be back to try them!

One of my favorite spots in Oahu! It's a small, unassuming, hole-in-the-wall place, but dont let the appearance fool you! The food is fresh and the prices are right! The Meat Jun is my go-to every time I visit Oahu!

Tables were dirty. Doors were open ( no ac?) with birds flying into restaurant , landing on tables, chairs. Unsanitary!

Beef stew was good, came with a scoop of rice and mac salad. Wish the scoop of rice was slightly larger for the amount of stew given. Lady at the front didn't look very happy. Food was good so I'll have to come back and try the other

Ok this place is worth leaving a review!!! I got the J’s special and EVERYTHING in the plate was flavorful and delicious!! There wasn’t a long wait time and the kids got to sit comfy while enjoying there fry chicken wings plate. This is definitely a place we’ll be returning to!!!Kid-friendliness: The plate portion was enough to split with my two sons (3 and 8) and they were pretty full. There’s a tv and bench seating which keeps the kids occupied.

A lot of my coworkers like this place. I do too, but it's just okay in the sense that you get what you pay for. The service is quick, and the food is okay. When you order, it's your usual walkup counter style. All business, which is all about efficiency. The price is good considering what you're getting, and keep in mind not too many Korean places in the Kakaako area - unless you walk over to H Mart.

After a long day of school I wanted something to make myself feel better, yet had trouble deciding where to go, and on the way to find a pho place I accidentally found Js BBQ which honestly was a great turn of events. I fell in love with the Kalbi served, and even the rich chicken Katsu. Eating their food almost had me crying, and for sure I would come back again for their good food and amazing service. Thank you for the meal! 정말 고마워! ::They have seating areas, and reasonable pricing for each meal served! They're always cooked right on spot after you order, so fresh and hot off the stove, ready for you to eat! The trash can is always on the left when heading towards the exit, and I'm sorry but there is no bathrooms located inside- only outside.

Rude counter service woman who clearly didn’t like the color of my skin. She sounded so annoyed answering questions about the menu. Bbq beef was tough. Go elsewhere.

I used to be a full time regular here. Breakfast was 4 bucks for bacon, two eggs, and a scoop of rice. It's almost 8 now. Still hits the spot. If you're a simple guy like me, you'll love the breakfast plate.Haven't been here for lunch since they moved into SALT, but I will be back.
