Great shaved ice experience right next to Waikiki beach. Came here multiple times and got to try most of the menu. The shaved ice bowls are incredible, as is the acai bowl. Worth it to add a Dole whip to your order for $1. Highly recommend as you come back from the beach!

Best açaí bowls in Waikiki! Generous portion compared to other places. Other places skimp you out. I love their coffee too! Good price for Hawai’i. Hawai’i is expensive to export items and ingredients in so that’s why prices are what they are compared to Continental USA, as Hawai’i is in the middle of nowhere in the Pacific Ocean. Don’t complain and get upset with the employees when it’s busy. It’s your choice to decide and wait in line. Support this small local business if visiting the island. Why give your money to big companies when you’d make a difference in these people’s lives.
I recommend Waikiki Açaí bowl. Nutella Açaí bowl. Their best selling coffee is the Waikiki latte. All coffee drinks can be made iced or hot, except cappuccino.
I recommend any waffle.

Waited in line, when it was finally my turn and I was the last person in line, the cashier decided to go ahead and help the other worker make some orders. I waited about 10 minutes (he knew I was there waiting). It got tired of waiting and left. I’m not sure if this was done intentionally because I am a person of color and the other customers were not. Kai Fresh do better.

This is an easy spot for a snack/drink and they are open all day. Waikiki locals might enjoy this small cafe. Monday morning there were still some tables to sit down, which was my favorite part. Fast and friendly service for an iced latte. They use Honolulu Coffee beans- maybe I will add a third espresso shot next time for a small drink to make the flavor stronger?or maybe a Dirty Matcha. I didn't have their food this time, I will try their waffle next visit.

Kai Fresh is a great little breakfast spot conveniently located near the beach — right across from the Moana Surfrider and directly in front of the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani, just past the pool area when walking toward the ocean. I stopped by just before 7 a.m., and there wasn’t much of a line yet, though when I passed by the previous morning a bit later, a solid line had already formed — a good sign that it’s a popular spot.
I ordered the blueberry waffle, which came out fairly quickly. The presentation was simple but appealing — lightly dusted with powdered sugar, topped with a generous spread of blueberry cream cheese and plenty of fresh blueberries. It struck a great balance between sweet and satisfying, without being overly heavy or too sugary for an early breakfast.
I took my order back across the street to enjoy on my hotel balcony, and it turned out to be the perfect start to the morning — fresh, flavorful, and portioned just right. For Waikīkī, where prices can run high for breakfast, Kai Fresh’s pricing felt very reasonable compared to nearby options.
Overall: A tasty, quick, and convenient breakfast spot with quality food, good portions, and great proximity to the beach. If you go a bit earlier in the morning, you can beat the line and enjoy a relaxed start to your day.
Yummy flavors and only $1 for dole whip which is soft serve ice cream and it’s a very big serving for $1 do def get it on top. The ice cream was already melting when they gave it to us. But it was tasty. And the shaved ice had some consents milk in it, but the ice was a little jumpy and not soft, so we had to break it down with our forks and spoons to make it slushy. Overall tasted yummy with the fresh fruit like mango and pineapple.. Outdoor seating available only.

The stand was cute, we asked the guy how big the waffle was, he made it seem like they were huge. We got the mango and the choco and both were super small so $27 for 2 really small waffles. The mangos weren't good and the waffle dough was gross like it was Pillsbury pre made type dough. Not worth the money or hype. Won't ever go here again except for the dole whip as everything else is just a tourist trap.
