I’m sitting at Kai Fresh. The weather is perfect, I love my best friend, and whatever this crazy shaved ice shit is we are loving every bite. Sophia and Dante provided excellent guidance through the menu. They were both very attractive and had lovely smiles. Whatever you’re doing get over here right now. 10 out of 10 recommend.

I wanted a shave ice. When I saw that the shaver had ice cubes instead of a block of ice I should have turned around. This was more like a snow cone - chunky. Flavors seemed to be real juice which is nice but the flavor didn’t last.

We ate 5 out 7 nights here at Kai fresh. Kat was amazing and professional never missed with our coffee orders. Also their shaved ice is to die for. Kat also recommended us to try the dole whip and I’ll have to say it was the best we taste during our trip. My husband also tried their waffles and wow ! So crispy and well made. If could give this place more stars I would. Thank you to Kat for all her recommendations!

I've had lots of açaí bowls and dole whip from both authentic and touristy spots in Hawaii... this is the most authentic you're going to find around Waikiki!! They give so much more actual açaí, as well as the other fruit, than other places around here. The waffles are made with croissant dough and they are UNREAL! So delicious. The dole whip also tastes essentially the exact same as at the dole whip plantation. For the area, the prices are totally reasonable.
I had the absolute pleasure of stopping by Kai Fresh in Waikiki, and let me tell you, it was an unforgettable experience! Not only was the acai bowl the best I’ve ever had – fresh, vibrant, and loaded with amazing toppings – but the customer service made it even better.
A special shoutout to Tommy, Kat, and Ki, who went above and beyond to make my visit incredible. Tommy’s welcoming smile set the tone the moment I walked in. Kat’s attention to detail and her passion for creating the perfect bowl were so impressive. And Ki? Ki’s upbeat energy and ability to keep everything flowing smoothly even during a busy rush were remarkable.

We ate here almost every day for breakfast during our trip, and it quickly became one of our favorite spots. The waffles were perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside—paired beautifully with fresh fruit. The açaí bowls were refreshing and flavorful, with generous toppings that made each bite a delight. We also loved their Dole whip, which was creamy and just the right balance of sweet and tangy. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared.
The only slight letdown was the smoothie, which felt a bit bland compared to everything else. However, that didn’t take away from the overall experience. This place is a must-visit if you’re looking for a bright and healthy breakfast option!
I enjoyed coming here! Kat took our order today. She explains the menu well!! Very nice and understanding girl! We wanted something refreshing other than pineapple tea, so she made us an Iced Green tea with Lilikoi syrup! It was delicious and helped us cool down. My wife got a cortado, and a traditional macchiato on 12/28 made by Kat 10/10.
We recommend getting the strawberry cream cheese waffle, mango cream cheese waffle. They’re not your ordinary waffles, they’re better than regular waffles! We will keep coming here during our vacation.
