The bento options were plentiful; they really worked around my allergies and the food was utterly amazing. We will be going back a few more time before leaving the island! The mochiko chicken was excellent and the sweet potato, brussel sprouts and kale salad were some of the best ive ever had.

Plenty of vegan / gluten free options, as well as meat and fish. Excellent sides. Owner is the chef and is super friendly. Recommended!

It look good in the pictures, the food was terrible! I ordered a vegan hamburger steak plate and my patty was burnt and the brown rice was bland and the potato salad was very salty. I’m a vegetarian and it’s hard to find good food and it’s expensive and this was not worth what I paid for at all!

It was not good at all by far the worst vegan food I’ve ever eaten and I’ve been to Italy, Spain, Germany and in a number of states. I ordered a vegan hamburger steak bento with sides and my patty was burnt and the brown rice was bland. I was not impressed with the sides.

Lots of vegan/vegetarian options. Food and service were great! It was so nice to find somewhere that served clean (non-greasy) eating with variety.

The mochiko chicken was completely caked and soaked in mayonnaise-type sauce. Service was very slow, 40 mins wait despite only 2 other parties, only to realize they had served my order to the wrong table, but no customer attention during their own confusion...

Probably one of the best places to eat in Hawaii. Love the options, the food is amazing and healthy. Vegetarian and Vegan options too!

Also the owner Bryan is the best! Super friendly.

I chose to dine here on April 6 based on reviews about allergy accommodation, but unfortunately left very disappointed.

The restaurant was unusually busy (as the owner mentioned), with what seemed to be just the owner cooking and one staff member at the front. Upon ordering, I clearly communicated that I was Celiac and also had peanut and tree-nut allergies. My partner and I were sharing our meals, so the allergy note was requested for both bowls. The lady suggested we order a drink while we wait for our food, which my partner did.

After a 45-minute wait, our meals arrived but with substitutions (sides doubled up as they ran out of what we ordered) that were not communicated. I found sliced almonds in one of my sides, despite my allergy. After 10 mins of waiting for someone to be available, I asked the owner to clarify if there was nuts in any of the sides, he admitted there were almonds and possibly walnuts in the soba or brussel sprouts and explained there was no allergy note on the order. While he was very nice and apologetic, no solution was offered, and I was left with nothing safe to eat. We also did not receive the drink until after our food was served, what was the point of ordering the drink then?

To make matters worse, the front-of-house staff was visibly overwhelmed and unwelcoming. There was no effort made to notify customers about substitutions, reservation/order cancellations, or delays—something I witnessed multiple guests frustrated over.

For a restaurant that promotes itself as allergy/diet preference-aware, this experience was unacceptable. We left our $47 meals untouched and went elsewhere.

Doing gluten free in Honolulu is hard. My 12 year old daughter recently learned that she was gluten intolerant so we were on the hunt for gluten free places. Kiana Farm Cafe is the best place that we found. She had a delicious gluten free garlic shrimp bento. The rest of us also got gluten free meals and found the croquette and dijon chicken delicious. The staff was great with the kids too! We will be returning!

Exceptional dish served by Kaimana Farm, ordered the Vegan Hamburg with 5 side dishe.. Sweet Potato, Brussell Sprout, Japanese Potato Salad, Soba Salad, n Lotus Rooots. All is very-very delicious. Opted for the Half Rice, Half Salad. Glad I didn't asked full rice because the salad come with Ginger Dressing and it's so refreshing n delicious. Makes me wants to eat vege more for sure. The owner, Chef Brian Ito was so kind to come out of his small but busy kitchen to have a chat with us. A lovely brunch for us. With be backed for sure. Must try for all. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We ordered the 3 side combo with rice, however we were charged additional $2.50 for rice. When we asked whether the rice is included as written on menu, the counter girl said no it's not and the menu is different. The food was okay but quantity was very less, also the rice was no more than four spoons.

Travelers with Celiac - this is a phenomenal spot! Excellent food, knowledgeable staff, and so many gluten-free options. The owner/chef came out and chatted for a while. He has a lot of direct knowledge of food allergies and is super thoughtful about what he creates as a result. We had one of each of the sides and the salmon main dish - loved every bite! Also recommend the yuzu tea.

Dietary restrictions: Great for those with Celiac!
