At work, we have used New Kamana kitchen to cater lunch a few times. The last time, I asked if their sweet potato masala could be made vegan and was told yes, they can make it with coconut milk. It was delicious, made with Okinawan sweet potatoes. I definitely recommend it if you're able to order ahead of time.

Authentic, flavorful, and welcoming! Kamana Kitchen is hands-down one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to—on or off the island. Every dish is packed with bold flavors, perfectly spiced (you can adjust heat levels), and beautifully presented. The butter chicken and lamb vindaloo were incredible, and the garlic naan was next-level. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Great ambiance, clean, and perfect for both casual dinners and special nights out. Highly recommend if you’re craving quality Indian food in Hawaii!

I had the Chicken Saag and it was absolutely incredible—easily one of the best dishes I’ve had in a while! The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, and the chicken was tender and juicy. I paired it with the Garlic Cheese Naan, which was warm, fluffy, and had just the right amount of cheesy goodness with that garlicky kick—such a perfect combination. The portion sizes were generous, and everything came out fresh and piping hot. On top of the amazing food, the service was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made the whole dining experience feel welcoming and relaxed. I’ll definitely be coming back!
