Good mochi. Haven't tried their exotic flavours yet - like Peanut Butter or Mango - just the basic, good-ol-fashioned red bean paste and sesame. I keep saying the next time I come here I will try the exotics, and then end up buying the traditional ones. Maybe next time.
Their rice series is not bad as well - sansai and sekihan. They run out fast though - it seems - since they're usually sold out by the time I get there in the PM. Maybe next time - in the AM.
Staff are all hard working - I couldn't help but take their pic - there's no idle chatting here - all business. And mochi.
Love your chocolate peanut butter mochi, but it seams you have dropped that combo and are just doing peanut butter. Please bring back the chocolate peanut butter with light chocolate mochi. I am having withdrawals
Thank you ❤️
Here you can find various sweets, including freshly made soft rice cakes, as this is a direct sales outlet for a traditional Japanese confectionery factory. The mochi cakes were surprisingly soft and chewy, and they were absolutely delicious.?
Haven't been to the location yet, but was able to snag some at Don Quiote. This is some yum yum mochi; can't wait to visit sometime.

The fresh mango mochi here is soooo good! A juicy huge slice of mango gets covered with a thin layer of sweet white bean paste and fresh mochi. Personally we could have done without the bean paste as it almost makes the mochi overall too sweet, but the overall freshness, satisfaction and juiciness are just unbeatable for five bucks. The ladies working here make the mochi fresh and are so kind to help you check their stock or reserve mochi for you if you call ahead too (which we recommend cuz this mango mochi sells out fast by the afternoon!!).
Go earlier i think for more selection? I got there right after lunch and there wasn't much to choose from. But, they quickly offered and packaged some additional styles for my purchase so a big thanks to them!
The dango and mochi are outstanding. I cannot wait to sample every flavor.
Very soft and smooth mochi!

How do they have like 20 employees working and no one willing to go on the register to help customers? Abysmal service with sad looking daifuku and basic drinks. It’s like the owner went on holiday to Hilo one time and visited Two Ladies Kitchen and tried to poorly copy the idea.3% fee for credit card transactions. So bring cash or… better yet, just go to Nijiya next door. Also the first photo here (nice looking mochi display) was definitely taken at the wrong location. It does not look anything like that inside.
I like Smoothie
I bought Obanyaki today at Times Supermarket in Aiea. Some of the Obanyaki looked like it wasn’t baked long enough. Especially the vanilla custard. Please toasted more darker.
