If you've got a lot of mouths to feed? Yes. If you're looking for the staff to remind you of Japan with their uniforms and restaurants interior designs? This is it. If you're looking for flavorful dishes that bring you back to Tokyo or Osaka, SKIP.

Sushi? Hit or miss.
Chicken karaage, tempura, gyoza? Delish.
Sauces? Flavorless.
Udon noodles? Average. Udon broth? Tasteless.

This place is a bang for your buck, truly affordable considering the portion sizes. Quality is just subpar.

Lots of parking available. Dining in hours are great for lunch and dinner. Staff are hospitable.

This is a good local style Japanese restaurant. Food was good, service was good and atmosphere was acceptable. Nothing that we ordered was exceptional but everything was very good. Only thing that I would recommend for improvement was the rice. I would like to think that serving higher quality rice at a Japanese restaurant would be the goal, not this low quality cheap stuff.

This is a no-frills, plain good Japanese restaurant. The dining room was packed and most people were Asian, a good sign. They had no room for me so they opened the patio which was very basic. All the waitresses were very friendly and attentive.
The miso soup was delicious, they also brought me hot tea and water. I ordered some sashimi and garlic shrimp, it came with a salad, Tsukemono and rice. The Hamachi was really good and the garlic shrimp came sizzling in cast iron on a bed of onions.
It was a very tasty and filling meal and it was nice to sit on the patio with a breeze.

Traditional Japanese food. Great parking and wonderful food that's also affordable. We LOVED the lunch bentos. Hidden gem! We will definitely be back

It took so long to get our food. Waitress was not very pleasant. When we asked about our food, she mumbled and walked away
Later when asked for tea, she mumbled something about no hot water cuz no power yet they were cooking so they had power.

We accepted a table outside because they were busy. Also, we were there right before 5 PM. Shrimp Tempura, unagi, miso soup, salad, we didn’t go hungry. Everything was delicious and service was excellent.

Been eating here over the years and it never fails to offer good Japanese style food at a good price point.The butter fish had more bones than expected, but the taste was worth it. Parking can sometimes be challenging, but the wait for seating is never long.

Parking: Lots of eateries in the area can make parking somewhat sparse. Be patient it's worth it.
