Tiny little spot tucked in a plaza in the middle of Waikiki. The food was wonderful and the service was just as good. We spent a week on the island and this restaurant is in my top three places that I will absolutely brag about when I get home. The soft shell crab salad was divine!! 👏🏽

A Hidden Thai Gem in Waikiki!
King of Thai Boat Noodles totally hit the spot! The Larb was absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned with that bold, tangy heat that makes your taste buds dance. Easily one of the best I’ve had.
But the real surprise? The duck. So moist and tender it practically melted in my mouth. Rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
Great portions, fast service, and a laid-back vibe right in the heart of Waikiki. If you're craving legit Thai food, this place should be on your list!

The food is…Okay (meaning neither bad nor good). The portion size and quality of service were lacking.

Great! Boat noodles are amazing, but the price is killer. The Pad Thai, Boat Noodles, and papaya salad is amazing and authentic. Service is decent, atmosphere is decent!

The service was exceptional. The food wasn't the best. Though the menu said spicy, it lacked any spice. The beef was overcooked and lacked texture.
I would come back for drinks and an appetizer, but probably not the entree.

My family and I (wife and 2 year old son) stopped here today for dinner. We were the only ones there at first. The service was good. Very friendly. They dealt with my son making a small mess. They didn’t complain. They seemed happy to see us. My wife had the pork noodle soup and I had the chicken pad Thai. Both dishes were very tasty. My wife LOVED her soup and I thoroughly enjoyed my pad Thai. On a side note, our son is a very picky eater as he is only 2 years old and he loved my pad Thai. So that was an added bonus for us! This place got crowded in a hurry and rightfully so. Probably won’t be back again this trip as we want to try other places. But when we return to Waikiki we will definitely stop by again!!! ❤️

If you’re craving an authentic Thai culinary experience in Waikiki, King of Thai Boat Noodles is a must-visit gem that transports your taste buds straight to the streets of Thailand. This unassuming spot nails the essence of Thai cuisine with dishes that rival those found in the heart of Bangkok.
The star of the show is undoubtedly their boat noodle soup. The broth is rich, complex, and perfectly balanced—thick with the deep, savory flavors of herbs, spices, and slow-simmered goodness that’s characteristic of authentic Thai boat noodles. It’s as close to Thailand’s iconic street food as you can get without hopping on a plane. The noodles are cooked just right, soaking up the broth’s bold essence, and the accompanying proteins and fresh herbs elevate every spoonful.
Their Pad Thai with prawns is another standout. It’s a masterclass in balance—sweet, tangy, and savory with a delightful chew from the noodles. It’s every bit as delicious as the best versions I’ve savored in Thailand and a generous sprinkle of crushed peanuts for texture.
Don’t skip the Thai tea—it’s a refreshing, creamy delight with just the right amount of sweetness to complement the meal. It’s the kind of drink that cools you down while enhancing the bold flavors of the food.
The ambiance is simple and unpretentious, letting the food take center stage. Service is friendly and efficient, making it a great spot for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner. If you’re in Waikiki and craving Thai food that’s as authentic as it gets, King of Thai Boat Noodle delivers an unforgettable experience that’s worth every bite.

Coming here late night was kind of the only option. It was about 1140pm on a Sunday night. Not many options open in Waikiki. Found this place off Google.
Went in, only 2 other parties were there. We were seated right away. We ordered Tom Ka soup with Chicken and Pork Pad Thai. The Tom Ka came piping hot! The chicken was tender but there were no bamboo shoots or other veggies... Just a ton of mushrooms. The soup was heavy on the coconut milk too. I'd give it a 2/5. Then the wait began.... We never received our Pork Pad Thai. I finally decided to ask about it. They didn't know what happened to it. There was another order of Pad Thai on the kitchen window but it definitely wasn't pork. The server went back to the kitchen to verify that it wasn't pork.. of course it was chicken... But where did our order go? Oooh... Yes, the other lady who was there. She was eating a plate of noodles... Of Pork Pad Thai!! She ordered Chicken and got our order! 🤦🏽♀️ They just laughed at her because she was given the wrong order and she didn't realize it. I mean, some people (for religious reasons) don't eat pork and all they could do was laugh?? That wasn't cool. Our PORK Pad Thai finally came. No apologies for the mix up by the way. She just dropped off the plate and walked away. The Pad Thai was piping hot. Pork was not dry and the Pad Thai itself was tasty but I would give it a 3.5/5. I've for sure had better. Service was terrible and just rude. Especially to the other party and she had no clue. We left paying with exact change. No tip given. None deserved to be honest.
Side note, there were multiple door dash orders. One order was handed to a gentleman and the server dropped it! What a mess. Don't come here if you have other options!
