Service is great even when busy. Such a great place to eat. Some of the customers were rude yet the Service remained excellent. If it's busy please be considerate I go here a lot and the people (workers)and food are always on point.

I ordered a spinach, bacon, and cheese omelet with no starch. They gave me a bacon omelet (overcooked) with no spinach, no cheese, and they added potatoes. My order was "to-go" so I didn't realized Koa Pancake Housr messed up my order until I arrived home. This isn't the first time that they messed up my order.

Update: I popped in for a breakfast burrito and it was packed. They do a good job given how busy it was. Estimated wait time in the app was spot on. But what struck me was when the aunty working the register made a bowl of whipped cream and sprinkles for a child who was throwing a tantrum. It was such a sweet moment. 10/10 service
Avoid anything with strawberries unless you like them frozen and mushy. But for the price I don't expect fresh fruit anyway. Other than that, foods good. Hard to find a place that sells Scottish bangers.

Don’t get me wrong, food is typically great and isn’t too pricey which is something i appreciate but the service today was disappointing. Typically i’m so so understanding of workers and it was pretty packed in there but a few of them were being rude and disinterested. They forgot my hashbrowns which was what I was looking forward to the most and the first time we asked they just stated that it wasn’t ready and that they’d bring it to us but we finished the rest of our food and we had to ask again and only then did they put in an order for them and we waited an additional 40 minutes but by then we had been there for nearly 2 hours so we left without the hashbrowns. multiple other groups around me and people picking their order ran into similar issues with waiting/not receiving things. honestly would go again because i don’t think this would happen again.

Koa Pancake House in Kaimuki is a convenient location for you to drop in and grab some delicious breakfast or lunch. It's a quick service restaurant, but honestly, by the way the pancakes taste, you wouldn't be able to tell. All I can say is you have to stop by and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Food was hot, fast and delicious. Plenty of seating. The diner was a bit dated but fine. The fresh OJ was amazing. The only thing that let this place down was the grumpy old Asian lady taking the orders. She acted like the customer was an absolute inconvenience. Maybe she was off her meds or didn't have enough of them... dunno. The rest of the place was great... just avoid old grumpy chops and you'll love it. ❤️
