1. We ordered the Jumbo Plate, asked for it chopped. We went there for the convenience. It’s not a convenience to get home and find it not chopped. Oh and the kicker not that much juice nowadays like before when it was closer to Hilo Hattie’s.
2. Wife said everything except the rice when asked what sides she wanted. The worker didn’t understand so she had to say corn tossed salad, and mac salad. We didn’t want rice because we get rice at home. Would you like to guess what had in the plate when we got home? Rice, tossed salad and corn.
Also if you want people to tell you what the receipt says then don’t sandwich it between the takeout plate and the bag of chicken because the grease going erase everything on the receipt.
Bottomline the food and service was way better when it was at the other location.

Me and husband heard this place from YouTube. We said that if we ever came back to Hawaii. We would try this place out. This place leave up to the hype. The chicken melted in my mouth. It was so juicey and had so much flavor.

We came here almost closing time. The chicken was not fresh anymore that it got dried and salty. But was still good especially on the leg parts and wing parts where it had fats that they are still moist and juicy.

Went to pick up chickens for lunch. Parking was a bit tight since they do share the area with other food establishments.
There is one (1) handicap stall by the enterance. Several tables inside should you want to eat there. Can get a bit stuff should there be lot of customers inside (based on past visits). They had only one sitting at the table talking to the owner at this visit.
The chickens were nice and warm; therefore they were really juicy. Couple of times the chickens were dry so best to ask if they got warm ones.

I visited this place based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately, it was a letdown. The chicken tasted stale, almost as if it had been sitting out for a while, and lacked any freshness or proper seasoning. I’m not even sure it was grilled as advertised. We didn’t eat it at all, yet were still charged. I’d recommend confirming that the chicken is freshly cooked before ordering, otherwise, you might be disappointed too.
One of the last spots to get huli huli chicken in town, got to appreciate that smokey flavor.
Parking: Park by Kamehameha Bakery and get some poi doughnuts too!

Catering place trying to be a restaurant. First time in Hawaii and wanted to try a mom and pop restaurant with good food. Upon arriving to the restaurant cashier (Lady) has no Customer service. No high chairs for babies but did have an old dirty baby chair just sitting there. I asked for tap water for my baby, she said they didn't have any cups. The restaurant was full of stuff just stuffed under the corners. Lastly the food was terrible. The ribs were SALTY no other flavor. Asked for sauce and she basically gave us an empty bottle of Sriracha. The chicken was decent but nothing special. Our food was served in plastic plates and plastic utensils.
